Andre Dirrell is still promoted by Leon Lawson to this day, and would need a tune-up before Ward.

Why does that even matter? Ward tweeted that he would give a shot to Bute if he beat Froch. You want to be sarcastic or funny about Ward but you're acting all moral in regards to Froch and Stevens?!

 

Nothing against you on those topic I swear. Only people in life I despise are liars. When Froch spread lies or such about Bute I was of those who critic him. I even said that I like Froch as afighter but not when he opened his mouth. I questionned the reason why he change his way since he signed with Bute.

I dont think i speak with double standard, if I did in the past it wasnt on purpose. Ward in my view wanted wathever he want, but it wasnt Bute, even after saying before during the super 6 that the winner have to face Bute. He should just have said he wanted a tune up with a south paw or that he wanted a break or something. In my view he was acting like a hypocrite.

Nah, I read too much between the lines it seems. The OP in the Stevens thread basically told e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y to **** off in a thread he made a couple weeks back only because we noted shortcomings about Stevens, and since I contributed to the train/ship debacle in the Froch Express thread, which for my part I still believe was in good spirit, I thought you were directly alluding to my stuff when you said "seriousness had to be kept" in there.


Ward was a hypocrite for saying Bute was THE fight to make for the S6 champ back in May last year, and pleading how Bute had to prove himself after he won the S6 and especially after Bute dominated a S6 semi-finalist. Now that he officially declined a Bute fight, he wants to pick up the pieces and say he would give him a shot should Bute beat Froch (which he says is a "pick'em" fight). I just hope their fight won't be in California, where you must appeal to exceptional circumstances if you want neutral judges / neutral ref.

i would like him to fight andre dirrell but i dont think it will happen. there fore i dont think he will fight anthony dirrell either. kessler moving up we can eliminate him unless ward is planning on moving up which he isnt.

i can see him fightin a tune up like fight vs magee then try n get it on with bute october or november.

Ward will fight in his hometown with his personal referee and judges against a wino from the alley! Ward refused to fight Bute................Ward will never fight Bute, but if that were to happen, Ward would have the fight in his hometown, with his personal referee and judges as usual. Ward was the only boxer who did not have to travel in his personal boxing tournament!

 

He deserves a gimme defense after beating up Froch and busting the bejesus out of his hand.

He will fight in Oakland supposedly in May (heard this from his stablemate, Mike Dallas Jr.), but I seriously doubt that now.
