Golovkin is busy preparing to fight Tureano Johnson or some such -- why bring him in to this?

 

Just did some research. Ducked Dirrel fought a few last minute subs beat a MW and got a couple good wins against Froch and Kessler after both mentioned had already been exposed. Took 3 L's against Goosen.

Damn there is a lot to be desired on Wards resume.

 

I do not think anybody really cares about Ward, he is almost irrelevant at this moment in time. he has 3 fights in 5 years, things move on.

Every time we hear about Ward he needs a "tune up", Ward bores me to tears. The sooner Kovalev retires him the better but it might be a long wait because Ward will wriggle of that fight in my opinion.

 

So we all are in agreement that Ward is going to win. True.

Many people don't know what happened shortly after Ward vs Dirrel was announced. So what happened was Ward and Dirrel (allegedly) both went to Showtime and told them that they wanted more money for them to fight each other. I cant recall the details but it was tantamount to extortion!:verysad But Showtime was having none of it because all the Super Six contracts were done and signed in advance with purses agreed on. So Showtime starts to get upset and threatens to sue Ward, Dirrel and their promoters. Ward finally gives in and says lets fight. Shortly after all this Andre Dirrel cant sleep and goes to see Dr. Shaw High! The rest is history! :yep
