It would be so simple for Ward to make this fight at 175 but he won't. It is easier just to sit back and talk like he does with Golovkin.

    so he says.

why not go and do it instead of talking rubbish all the time then.

boring and a cheat inside the ring. boring and deluded outside of the ring.

just what boxing needs. another spunk bubble.

too much talk from ward these days, i thought he was a true warrior, time to put words into action. i hope he doesn't want kovalev at 168 - that would be a joke.

ok, i'm just watching the video now. and what stands out to me when questioned on what he thinks of Adonis and Kovalev, is when he bites the skin on the side of his thumb.

this is a sign of nervousness and insecurity in the body language world, folks.

plus he's careful in not only what he says, but how he says it.

he doesn't want anything to do with these two. no way. he'd crumble mentally. he's showing no belief in what he says. he's not assured in any way. he's not fighting them. full stop.

i'm not saying he was a can. lacy had a belt...so did jermain taylor. i don't think either of those guys were A level fighters though.

Right off the bat, Ward said he's only seen a round or two of Kovalev. So he hasn't seen that much of Kovalev to make a good assessment of him yet.

Maybe he'll feel differently if he watch more of his fights, may be won't. I don't really care. I just want to see them fight.

all of that doesn't matter. what matters is what happens in the ring. these fights will happen eventually.

Ward used to be a true boxer....now he's a fraud. He'll chase the GGG-Chavez winner and beg HBO to put the fight on PPV.

LOL, Ward starts out the interview by defusing the expectation the interviewer had of getting Ward to say negative things about Stevenson or Kovalev. You might forget but Ward also refused to say much negative about Froch and Kessler either.

Those who think that Ward wouldn't beat Kovalev on the inside AND the outside are delusional.
Ward's hand speed is the fastest in the SMW AND the LHW divisions. His handspeed is akin to Mayweather's to Ortiz.
Although Ward doesn't have one punch knock out power, he definitely can bang hard enough to get serious respect. He got Froch's respect with jabs, hooks and straight rights, and he busted up Kessler's grill pretty good too with jabs, hooks and straight rights.
He has power in that left hook as we saw with Dawson. Those inside uppercuts are no joke either.

The jab and movement will win the outside fight with Kovalev. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ward's jab mark up Kovalev's face or possibly close his eye.

In the Agnew fight we saw Agnew catch Kovalev with a few good punches, and those few were enough to do damage to Kovalev's face. I don't think that Agnew punches much harder than Ward. His hands are not as faster, and he doesn't possess the defence or punch variety of Ward.
    I have Ward by TKO.

Why do all these regular joe's who would **** their pants seeing these boxers think the boxers themselves are 'scared' to fight?

Boxing is pretty much in their blood, especially in Wards case... a guy who had to fight anyone put in front of him in the ams who hasn't lost since he was 12 years old. He's far more proven than Kovalev and Stevenson. If anything, that's a confidence booster.

    Ward isn't scared of anyone.

Kovlev is too robotic and stiff to beat Ward.
He is like Kessler with more power and less technique.
Ward will take him to the deep end of the pool and Kev gets his 1st defeat by TKO.
