Andre Ward Officially Removed From All P4P Lists

Ward should get a fight soon, most likely against a fringe contender whether be in the SMW or LHW division, not sure.

It was the only reason I've kept revisiting this fairly unnecessary thread! (who didn't see this overdue development coming? Ward isn't even rumored to have a fight lined up any time soon)

I'm really hoping to get "BOGs" to catch on as shorthand for the Ward Army...just in time for him to no longer be active, indefinitely. :!|

Ward said in a good interview of his that if that had to be it, then that is it. Meaning that if he doesn't fight anymore, that wouldn't be that bad, that life doesn't reduced to boxing. He said that he acheived already a lot in boxing and that he would feel that way about acheivement if his boxing career had to be over.

I don't like Ward for his BS when trying to avoid hard fight after the S6 (Bute, Stevenson, Froch in England, for instance). That was the only interview where he was humble and not b.s.ing us ****.

So maybe Ward just won't fight anymore.

 

Oh come on man!! Nobody enjoys watching ward fight. There's the occasional wannabe elitist who SAYS they like watching him fight so they can feel special...but it's ****. His style is ugly. He's not floyd, or rigo, he don't box from the outside n move...he's a smaller version of a klitchko. I understand you lames want to feel like you got a deeper understanding n appreciation of the sport than other fans but pumping ward n saying you enjoy watching him fight is ****. I don't buy it.

Honestly, it's a bit of a defeatist attitude in my eyes, he achieved a lot but not as much as he could with his level of talent, if he's content he's content but if I was in his position, I wouldn't be.
