That "it could have gone either way" stuff really needs to go. It's not like the only possible scores would be a win by a point to each. Every judge could have scored from 3 points to Kovalev to 1 point to Ward, so Kovalev had a 66% to 75% ( a draw would have been enough to keep the titles) with each judge. But surprise, every judge gave it to Ward, he really won the lottery here!! Hence the term robbery.

You could have scored that fight 117-110 for kovalev and many did , the most you could have gave it to for ward if you have him every single close rounds even the ones kovalev looked to do better I'm its 114-113 to ward

So ya it could have gone either way, in normal circumstances 80-90% of the time it should have gone kovalevs way. But in this Case all three judges gave it to ward which shows it was a robbery

 

What's funny is in this thread, I saw someone say Ward ran, held, and pot shot after the KD, à la Mayeather, and another guy say that he low blowed, headbutted, and fouled Kovalev.. How Sway?

Then I see how he had his own personal ref and judges...ect à la Mayeather, but can't give a reason why or how can he afford it when he is so inactive and fights on BET..

Then people judge him based off of his faith.. A lot of people believe their sons and daughters of God.. Why does that bother people? Is it because he says it? Kanye said he's a God and everybody freaked out but Eminem says he a rap God and everybody cool with it..lol

Most people who had Ward winning calls it a close fight, while most people who had Kovalev winning called it a currupt robbery.. A lot of those guys hate Ward for whatever reason, but no one really dislike Kovalev.. Why is this? lol

 

He did though. If you want I can watch the fight again for you and point out every instance of a foul. There were tons. Actually if you go on youtube and look up "Kovalev vs Ward dirty tactics" you will see some 30 min video about the same thing.

 

That is true.. When they were close, they both threw questionable punches.. What I'm saying is, how is that possible when you're running the whole fight after the knock down? I see guys say he ran which is obviously false if they also say he did all this dirty stuff which requires you to be close.. And they say Ward charged in with his head down, which he did a few times, which is the opposite of running...lol

 

Ohhhh, got it. I thought you were just disputing the dirty aspect of it. Well honestly, the two things aren't binary since a guy (usually) doesn't do the same thing the entire fight. I wouldn't say that Ward ran the entire fight at all though. He didn't try to go toe to toe and trade with him, but he'd be an idiot if he did that considering the advantage Kov had in terms of power. There are some people that think that if you don't do that then you are running, but there are different ways to box and very often that is a very stupid approach to take.

I didn't want to say it..lol But then again, they love Tyson and he was a worse person in and out of the ring than all those other guys put together.. They hate Ward for being an a hole or cocky because he calls himself 'Son Of God' but love all the classic quotes of a dopped up Mike Tyson...lol

 

Easy answer Sergey Kovalev is an honest FIGHTER He told it like it was he said " Listen to the crowd they know who really won"

 

You mean the crowd that was left. You're not talking about the raucous cheering after the decision came through. Arena was less than half full during Kovalev's interview. Go watch the Boxing Voice's reaction video. Kovalev throwing his trainer under the bus for the loss anyways on the Russian boxing site allboxing.ru. His character is scumbag.
