    Sure, why not.

Anything on Froch, the guy who actually whined like a child after the Ward fight that "Ward didnt fight like a man" and who "caught him on an off night"?

Great. Good for him....except....um...he barely actually BOXES NOW!

    This was years ago! Years

Ward has about as much claim to being #1 in 168 today as Calzaghe ffs, he beat Kessler and Bika too! He could whip everyone currently in the top ten next week surely!:nut

Use it or lose it Ward!

drop a mandatory in order to fight a man who still hadn't made his comeback and fancied a soft touch (his 1st 2 choices were rejected by hbo). you're doing a **** job of proving froch doesn't want the fight.

Everyone in the world of boxing still considered Ward the #1 guy at 168, stop pretending like he had been retired for 5 years!

Also I do0nt have to prove anything about Froch not wanting the fight.

The fact that not even Froch has claimed he ever tried to make a fight with Ward is proof enough.

Ward said repeatedly in the media that Froch never tried to make a fight with him.

I never heard Froch disagree. Did you?

Ward said after Kessler 2, on live British TV, that all Hearn had to do was pick up the phone and try to make a fight.

    Hearn never did.

Good to see you will admit that you made a baseless comment for the sole purpose of drumming up your hero.

We'll get to Froch for sure.

And if you dont turn up anything on Froch, you'll admit that he never wanted the Ward rematch and was just spouting off in the media to seem like a tough guy?

That Ward has no problem going abroad to fight, like so many idiots on thsi thread think?

Why would he "bein a mad rush"

Also, shouldn't Froch, ya know...actually try to make a fight with him. Or should Ward just show up at a random English Arena, get in the ring and hope that Froch is there too?

Ward whupped Froch once, and Froch doesnt want anymore of that.
    Simple.

Doesnt matter if the fight is on in Frochs living room with his parents as judges and his wife as referee....Froch simply doesnt want the fight.

I would love it, genuinely, for Ward or anyone to show the skill to win fights and dominate and provide entertainment but I'm afraid that until Ward proves he is the same as he was pre-shoulder surgery I'm totally unconvinced.

You are completely wrong in saying he is still unequivocally the best at 168lb in most people's opinions. This thread should tell you that fans don't appreciate fighters living off victories from 2-3-4 years ago which Ward is most certainly doing.

Everybody has an off-night if they fight enough live opposition on a regs and may lose, big fu¢king deal....get up and get on with it.

I only wish Ward thought a bit more like Thurman: "I have an '0', and I'm not afraid to let it go!"

Boxing needs fights not whiny excuse makers.

and when ward said that, on live british tv, he was still out injured. and despite his bravado, there's no way he wanted as tough a test as froch for that 1st (and so far only) fight back, as evidenced by his 2 rejected suggestions and, with due respect, rodriguez.

and if you're not prepared to prove froch doesn't want the fight, don't demand i prove he does. you're chatting utter **** out your arse on this, a few have shown you up, do us all (especially yourself) a favour and turn it in.

I was talking about after Kessler, which is over a year ago.

EVERYONE in boxing at that time considered Ward the #1 guy at 168...most STILL do!

Ward completely cleaned out the SMW division in 25 fights!! When he was 27 years old!

And you claim hes "afraid to lose his 0"????...GTFOH!

Actually he wasnt out injured. He was fit and healthy and looking for a match at that point.

You have NO proof Froch and his team ever tried to make that fight do you??

Since I cant prove a negative, its on you to prove that Froch actually tried to make that match. Show something, ANYTHING!

Hearn saying "we're in talks" "we're waiting to hear back from Wards team"

"I tried making it but Ward didnt want to come to Engl;and"
    "They wanted too much money"
    ANYTHING!!!1

You would think that a "warrior" like Froch would have moved heaven and earth to get a rematch with the guy who beat him!"

How can I PROVE, that something that never happened...never happened, its impossible to prove a negative!

Can I show you the contract that was never written or an audio of the phone calls that were never made????

I think he climbed the mountain, won his fights and should be given due credit. I give him the credit for sure.

Facts are though, he didn't exactly steam through everyone like some awesome juggernaut! He stank and semi-fouled his way to those victories which were years ago. I don't think they translate to a massive 168lb or P4P ranking right now.

As for being afraid to lose his '0'. I think he is. He needed to enter the Super6 to make it (so I don't think losing his '0' applies here) and fought at a hugely technically proficient level.

I'm just not bowled over by him (especially in recent YEARS) as you seem to be. Seems mad to me to idolise Ward when lately he's disgraced boxing by not actually participating and talking pure $hit.

If he was battering even lower ranked contenders regularly then I could see how people could crow on about him with some substance but for me, he's just embarrassing now. I do wish he'd come back, actually box and prove me wrong though!:good

    Old man Ward?

When Froch was the age Ward is now, he was fighting Sergey Tatevosyan in some nothing match in Nottingham, and he had never even fought for a world title.

Froch hasnt shown a willingness to fight Ward ANYWHERE since their first match!
