The clinching wasnt the worst part, it was Ward keeping his head on Kesslers face.

On the other hand, Kessler should have adapted and kept his center of gravity a bit lower and just steered Wards head away when he tried to do that.

Ward is too predictable, people say he has "good defense" and his defense isnt bad but his primary tool is ducking low and ramming his head forward. He is going to pay for that habit one day.

Why didn't you bump the other threads where I did speak about hom not fighting Ward for the risk-return ratio??

You picked one singular thread. Why not the others?

Fine! To be clear, I intimated the exact same idea as Froch, my exact wording was probably different.
Jeez, I though that was assumed.

I said Froch didn't want to fight Ward because he wouldn't make enough money for a fight that he'd probably lose.

Did Froch not say the same thing if not EXACTLY those same words? (Although, even then I was pretty close!)

you've been banging on about exact same quote, word for word etc, now it's virtually the same.

so froch said virtually the same as "i want no part of getting schooled in front of my own fans"? ok then.

I added the extra phrasing for flavour.

The "word for word" I was referring to was my constant reference to Froch not fighting Ward because Ward was too high risk, for too low reward.

And yes, that was pretty much bang on what Froch said. Yes, not "word for word", but the exact idea.

 

i re-read this thread when i bumped it, you really didn't.

the rematch hasn't happened because of how ward's career has panned out. he should've been big reward, he hasn't even been available.

 

There is nothing @ 168 for Ward.
