I think I've said that one before. :)

Chances are that Ward vacates rather than risk facing Kessler in Denmark if Kessler becomes mando.

Ward is no doubt the No. 1 guy at 168 that's not the question.

Thankfully the other guys weren't as fond of their home comforts or the super six would not have happened.

Who gives a **** where a fight takes place? At the end of the day it's just two men in a boxing ring.

    Who cares

most great champions in their prime dont travel especially if they are the draw

in his prime how much did Roy travel

in his prime how much did Hopkins Travel

    Mayweather never travels

Pacquiao since adopting the US as his home for boxing basically fights Vegas or Texas

Most black and white era fighters fought in NYC

the one champ who i can think of who traveled a lot was Ali, i think Robinson did a little

I think Andre Ward is perhaps one of the best P4P fighters currently and is known by those that watch and follow the sport of boxing. His popularity sadly is not huge at this point and probably explains why his fights constantly take place in California. Boxing is a business and Ward best payouts and even his opponents will be better of fighting in the states most of the time.

Damn so many wardtards on the defensive.

    It's easy to say it.

ward is the best but a boring 168lb.

He' s a stay at home boxer.

Just in case he gets a Boone treatmenth on those fragile whiskers.

    Truth will set u free.

Leonard & Duran shared the same disadvantage of fighting 'away' from home, so how is that relevant?

What's the name of the Tokyo native who KO'd Tyson again?

Yeah, Lacy would have smashed slappy had the fight been held in Florida.

Not really home 'town' advantage plays a big part in boxing, be it mentally or with the judges. AFAIK every fight in the super 6 was won by the hometown fighter.

The only fight that was shady was the Froch/Dirrell fight.

As for the other fights,id expect the same result regardless of where it was held.

Also the Froch/Abraham fight was neutral

    Just in case?

That's a far cry from a definitive home advantage lol.

Nah. Kessler-Ward was much worse. Ward would have been dq'ed anywhere but jOakland.
