Andre Ward may not be exiting to most boxing fans and doesn't win impressively with KOs/TKOs, but he meets JAB5239's requirement for a fighter he likes and highly rates. It's pretty obvious what that requirement is.
Ward isnt very exciting, but has fantastic skills. To bad hes not in my top ten anymore due to inactivity. Thanks for bumbing another one of my threads from years ago though. Can you say "obsessed"? :rofl
It's a shame about Andre's inactivity. After he beats Pulev, Wlad will have a better claim to the #1 spot than Ward does, primarily because he's the one beating top fighters now. It's been 2 years since the Dawson win and 3 since the Froch one for Andre. Crazy when you consider Andre's squarely in the prime of his career while Wlad's on the back end of his.
Yes, you do seem obsessed with praising certain boxers and discrediting others. Threads like this one make it very clear and obvious what criteria you go by. :lol1:
When was Wards last big win? People seem to be rating Ward on what Froch is doing. Wards best win is past best, unwell, double vision suffering, rusty Kessler who had already been beaten when prime by the previous champ who was at the end of his career. I would struggle to put that him in the top 5
If he doesn't fight soon he should be dropped from the rankings. But if he does fight soon and keeps winning the way he has, it is very possible he will be P4P #1 at some point
Im not the one bumping old threads of mine, you are. Why dont you tell us what criteria i go by, Carcharias?
He has the skillset to be but is wasting by letting it sit on the shelf. I know he has promotional issues, but its hard to justify him keeping a lofty ranking while being so inactive.
You can make an arguement al right he beat the who's who if the division is the main man unlike a lot of other pound for pound fighters if he beats direll there be no1 left really who might have a chance
Why bother when it's so obvious? You love and always defend: Hopkins, Ward, Toney, etc. You never bash boxers who have lost to them, since you feel satisfied that they have proven their superiority. You always make posts and threads bashing/discrediting: the Klitschkos, Povetkin, Kovalev, Lomachenko, etc. And any boxer who loses to them, you hate and ridicule. You complain that Wlad gets away with holding, but find it acceptable that Ward and Hopkins get away with not only holding but numerous other more serious fouls like head butts. You have been critical of home refereeing in Europe, but when it happens in the USA favoring the home fighter you find it completely acceptable (in fact you become angry when anyone mentions it). You made threads here and on the 'scene claiming Vitali admitted he was on steriods during his whole boxing career (a lie you were banned from the 'scene for) but you become angry when anyone questions why Ward and Hopkins have refused to take PED tests. Double standards? :yep It's very obvious what criteria you go by, a small child could figure you out.
If its so obvious than let the cat out of the bag. As for the rest of your post, its complete rubbish. Ive given praise to every fighter you say i slander, its just not enough for a mamas boy like you who worships certain fighters. As for the ones you say i praise....ive called them into question plenty of times including Ward and Hopkins recently. But again thats not enough for you because im not completely trwshingbthem as you do. Your opinions are crapbjust like your sad little life sitting behind a computer all day in mommys basement talking about a sport youve never even done. You hero worship like a child. But thqts enough for now, i have a halloween party to go to. Maybe i'll entertain myself more in a few hours at your expense if you can come up with that criteria, Carcharias.
Marquez knocked out Pacquiao. Mayweather shut out Canelo. Pacquiao comfortably defeated Bradley. ...all recently. (more recently than Ward has done anything notable) Ward really has NOTHING on any of them. His only great win since Kessler is Froch - and neither of them compares with any of the above victories.
