Why is he?

 

He can´t pull out. Hes in a contract.

 

If Dirrel was allowed to pull out due to injury vs Froch, and Johnson allowed to step right in, why can't Bute pay off Johsnon and step into the fight. It would be far more exciting, and even Ward could fight the winner in early 2012. Johnson could move on and get a fight with Cloud or Pavlik and we could still see a great fight.

It'd be a win win for everyone involved.

 

For one thing he got on Ward about delivering the message via twitter. What's the problem with that? He doesn't know that he didn't already contact his manager or promoter first but perhaps they weren't ready to make an official statement.

Second, he kept trying to suggest that he might be faking it because he's worried about Froch. Part of his "evidence" is that it happened very late at night but that's nonsense. The tweet was roughly at 11:00pm PST and considering he flew to LA and posted AFTER surgery (we don't know exactly how long after) we're talking some hours before when the accident would have happened when you consider travel and surgery time.

 

R Markussen might be dangerous. He has a killer right hand. No doubt Froch will win. just saying it could be risky.

 

I dont think there is anything wrong with Hearn saying its unprofessional that the world was told the fight was off before telling people like himself who are involved in the promotion, especially when there is a fellow fighter (Froch) to consider.
If they werent ready to make an official statement then why go on Twitter?

I agree Markussen has a dangerous punch and it could be risky, but I named people like Markussen and Magee rematch as potential opponents as they are world rated/class but just below the top level and of a similar age to Froch. Anything can happen though.
I wouldnt want Froch to be in an ageing fight before he has a massive fight

 

Ward made a tweet to let his fans know and there shouldn't be any issues with that. If you want to blame someone, blame his management. It's their job to deal with the press and inform Froch's camp not Ward's. A new article on ESPN.com states that Goosen was with Ward during this so obviously he knew ahead of time.

 

I dont want to blame anyone for anything, I just asked why you called Hearn a douchebag and that I dont think there is anything wrong with what Hearn was saying about not being told first when it affects people like Froch more than all of Wards Twitter followers

I would love it to move to LA or Vegas so I could go, but AC makes much more sense: time zone, no backyard controversy, etc.
