Sooner or later Roc Nation will lose patience with this guy and pull the plug. The he will be in a Goosen stalemate type of situation all over again.
Ward has probably saved his money better than any other fight. You wont see him driving around in Bentleys and Lambos. A standard Ford Expedition for his wife and 4 kids is plenty. Floyd has wasted/lost more money than Ward has made in his entire career. Ward could retire today and he would be fine. He lives over in Dublin in the East Bay. Nice houses but not too expensive. And Virgil and the gym is only 15-20 minutes away in Hayward.
I can only think his hand didnt feel that bad when he fought Froch, as I seem to recall that the date had to be changed for that fight due to a cut he suffered
Ive given him the benefit up to now but its beyond pathetic now. To think of the fights he could and should have had and hes pretty much a joke to most now. Shame imo,but self inflicted.
