In all fairness to Andre. The Paul Smith fight was considered a LHW fight on the books.

 

Fonfara P4P#3 LHW on the planet. He only needs another shot at the belt.

 

Ward should be number one, yes his style is negative and boring and he hasn't fought in a while because of legit injuries but, he has fought a host of quality fighters and is undefeated and until he is beaten he should be number 1. Race on this forum seems to play a big part in who gets a pass and who doesn't. I suspect and am quite sure that is why he gets dismissed around here. I am neither a Ward fan nor a fan of his style, but if you have any sense of justice how can he not be #1. I too hope Kovalev rips a new one but until then whats right is right. No Chocolatito doesn't have the quality of opposition to be ahead of Ward.
