No parts of Kovalev? Stevensonwas ducked by Kovalev and Ward.

Kovalev had three years to accept a fight with Stevenson.

Stevenson was also calling Ward out. None of them wanted that business.. period

    Are we re-writting history now?

When both men were under HBO, they were on a colision course and that fight could've happened then, but then he signed with Haymon in early 2014, who HBO wouldn't do business with. Remember that era? When he signed with Haymon he killed the fight, pure and simple. Yeah Team Kovalev backed out of a purse bid a year later, but that had nothing to do with Kovalev ducking the pimp and everything to do with boxing politics, Kovalev had just signed a new contract with HBO and Stevenson was a PBC fighter, backed by Haymon and Stevenson would have never lost the purse bid, which means Kovalev would have to break his HBO contract to take the fight, and Duva didnt want to damage the relationship she had with HBO. In hindsight HBO should have backed Kovalev in this situation. It's funny because the same thing happened with Beterbiev, he wanted to fight Kovalev, Kovalev accepted and Duva sent him a offer, an offer that was rejected by his team because the reality was that they wanted Beterbiev to be mandatory for the IBF so that they could win a purse bid, being backed by Haymon again.

Stevenson wanted the Kovalev fight period. He called him out, even confronted him in the ring face to face, and Kovalev just walked away ad we saw in the video.

Ward also wanted nothing to do with Stevenson, which was tye main point of my discussion with Cobra, since Ward who I have always supported is acting holier than thou when clearly he is projecting against Canelo.
