Again, Ward will never fight outside his hometown with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc.

Stevenson called out Ward, said he would fight Ward at 175 or 168, but I don't think anyone should fight Ward in Ward's hometown................

That'd be a bad fight for Stevenson, Adonis is a pretty good example of what he is; an athletic puncher with reasonable skills, but Ward has the skillset to simply dismantle him IMO. I ain't a huge fan but Ward does know how to win fights.

Can't really blame Ward if he's aiming for a JCC jr fight - good money and TBH I don't give a damn who fights Jr next as long as they either hurt or humiliate him - the guy ain't gonna bother even trying to make weight he doesn't belong in the sport IMO.

Why are so many people voting for Ward to fight a smaller guy i.e. the one they call GGG? A good fighter should be challenged, thus it would be interesting to see Ward take on some one from the 175 division.

Crap I accidently voted for Vera/Chavez winner. I thought the poll was "Who do you think he'll fight next". I think he wants Chavez to win that so he can fight him. This will help him build his name up and equal out to be the most money for the least risk.

However, I think this goes to show you that Floyd is a lot more willing to take on high opposition than people think. Victor Ortiz, JMM, and Robert Guerrero were all fights taken after an even longer lay off.

E-Rod hasn't ever fought for a belt... And people call this guy P4p #2... I believe he is good but I think you have to drop his rating if he doesn't fight anyone.

Don't even call those guys duckers. This is an unbelievable amount of ducking that Ward has done with this fight. Wilder shouldn't be compared because he isn't even a champ yet, but Jones and Floyd never took an opponent of this low quality anywhere near their prime. I thought we were gonna see some great things from Andre Ward. Fighting E-Rod isn't one of them lol.

your right it dont add much to his legacy...but keep ducking the big fights out ther and making excuses and he might just ruin his legacy...as of right now, he doesnt have a legacy....to have one you must be remembered in 50 or so years later...if ward retires now he wont be remembered 10 years down the line...hell the man cant even fill the seats in his home town

I wanna see Stevenson vs Kovalev then Ward fight the winner

If Stevenson beats Kovalev then hes definitely in the top 10 p4p and is the most legit fight for Ward

If Kovalev wins he still deserves a Ward shot but doesnt have as many good wins so I think ward would duck him

Brilliant move, Andre. You have a problem building a fanbase beyond Oakland, so it makes perfect sense to shoot down all the fighters other fans want to see you face. Who knew that he enrolled in the Winky Wright School of Business during the injury layoff?

It seems Ward fans have no problem with guys draining themselves going down to fight Ward, but are afraid about Ward moving up... Stevenson and Kovalev scare Ward and his fans.

    Probably.

Definitely. Floyd fighting Canelo is similar to Ward fighting Kovalev except Canelo is a bigger draw.

Yet guys like Bute, Stevenson and Kovalev aren't ready, haven't earned it and need to prove themselves apparently.

Yes, they are afraid that without his advantages, Ward will lose.
