    Take the time to read the post or shut up?

    Ward is the first 168 as of today and maybe he'll win against Bute but I won't be sure until they both meet in a ring. That's all I want.

    The chubby one in this picture, The Dog himself, would be disappointed to know his WBC mandatory status is a big joke until Ward officially moves up.

    Some pretty good points. I dont get how people are sweating him if he's not looking to fight either Dirrell brothers. High risk, low reward. Bad management, bad promoter if they're looking to create fights with that make-up.

    He was mentally prepared to fight Andre Dirrell in the S6 tournament, since it was pre-determined matching for the Stages. He was asked about his match-up while watching a Dirrell fight and he remarked though Dirrell's like his brother, Boxing is business, they gotta be professional, and he's gotta make money for his family. He was mentally prepared to fight Dirrell. I don't think Dirrell was. And he checked out early, thanx to the AA doofer. IMO, he would have gotten an "injury" during the training build-up for the Ward/Dirrell fight IF AA hadn't bailed him out...

    As a chessplayer in boxing, he seems to be a chessplayer to the media too. What he says and what he does doesn't seem too reliable. It may be because of boxer/promoter conflict (and Goosen wants him to be a good Pacquiao), or because things evolve and change over time, and he's looking to try to get every edge in every situation, even if that means stepping over what he had said. I think its the latter. A bit aggravating for a fan. Because you never know what his true next move is going to be.

    What I'm trying to tell you is:

    If Bute loose there would not be a fight with Bute next. And since if Bute win there's no rematch, Ward or you or the Pope should not be concerned about the rematch clause. I cant get clearer than that if you dont understand it now.

    Obviously Ward doesnt care, because he is the one concerned with the rematch clause..lol...To me it seems like he's gonna fight him win, lose, or draw, because thats the style matchup that fans want to see!

    You should if you want to make a valid point.

    The underlined words would be a clear understatement. How about: "giving some examples of statements deliberately at odds with reality of facts"?!

    Basically that's called inconsistency. An inconsistency is not necessarily a lie: it might be the sign of a person who changes his mind often or who has a weak mind. Ward made also inconsistent & nonsensical statements.
    However, in the above I singled out some allegations definitely belonging to the category of lies.

    I'm not sure to get your point correctly. With very rare exceptions (politicians, lawyers or so -- not Ward's case), nobody has to lie. The absence of necessity is not enough in real life: people do say lies. I'm very sad to take note that Ward is in with these people.

    He shouldn't be (moreover, for someone claiming a special status with respect to the supreme divinity, his behavior is surprisingly at fault with one of the basic tenets from the Decalogue, "Thou shalt not bear false witness"). Alas, nobody's perfect.

    Yeah right.

    I would like to emphasize at this point that one should make a clear distinction between facts (at least theoretically checkable events; a typical example might be: "Yesterday at 13:25 I received a written invitation from the organizers to be a part of the Super 64 tournament") and their interpretations or relative-valued opinions (statements with debatable value of truth, say "The Super 64 tournament is just BS").
    A lie is a statement deliberately inconsistent with the facts.

    As already hinted, the absence of necessity is not the point made here. Besides, I did not use the words "duck" & "dodge".

    The sad part is you are right here: he knows how he should behave... but he still acts bad. Just read one of his tweets of February 11: "This is what hurts our sport: If we talk bad about certain fighters & certain fights in house, then read again what he said about Bute.

    Out of that, he's undoubtedly a gifted fighter.

    U used allot of big words, and a whole lot of technicalities..And u didnt really say anything while doing so..But like I said before, I dont think Ward is that kind of person who has to Lie or duck, or dodge...If he ever contradicted himself, he was probably mispeaking...I bet if you told him some of the stuff u guys where saying, he would be shocked and prove it all to be a huge misunderstanding..Ward is kind of mature, and he obviously has alot of trust in his skills!...I dont ever see him being like Floyd, or being one of those fighters who annoy the fans!...You guys are reach reach reaching!!!!..LOL

  10. Chavez Jr who is like 9 years younger then Bute have a better resume and his resume is **** rofl

    Bute is like an OLD MAN already guys get off the fuking battleship

    This guy is like 32 rofl already and still fought nobody

    I'll make it simple for you: let's suppose I state loudly I offered you the opportunity to make a fight on many $$$, while you have never received any message from my part. You call my statement (choose a variant among the following):
    1. a mispeaking;
    2. a contradiction;
    3. a misunderstanding;
    4. a lie.

    After you'll pick a definite answer, read again the provided quotes.

    I think some of you guys are racist...well we all know some of you are racist, but u'd HAVE to be to find a way to hate on Ward...Its so obvious that Ward is not even close to the type of person you all make him out to be...to me, he's a regular dude...honest dude...he promotes himself as a perfect guy who doesnt do any wrong, and he has confidence in his skills, so he doesnt really have a reason to lie!...Quit hating and trying to turn him into something he's not...You guys even tried to say he was ducking anthony dirrell..LMAO...Man just stop already!

    Thank u...I have made my case! You try ur hardest to nitpick everything he says, to make it seem as lies...then calling him a liar! When in actuality, its probably him just mispeaking! He doesnt really have a need, to be the type of person u all make him seem to be!
