As a fan I find very unfair to leave the number 2 out of such a tournament. Don't you?

It was not a grueling tournament for Ward. Repeating the same nonsense won't make it true.

Anyway, Ward himself is suddenly ready to fight Bute right now. He's changing his mind all the time and all I do is state that fact. You cannot do anything about it: it's a fact.

Now, that would plunge you directly in the paranormal activity: the linked article was posted yesterday, April 11, and the interview took place after Easter (i.e. this weekend) since Jean Bédard said about Ward new allegations "C'est comme s'il était ressuscité après Pâques".

... to be activated only in case he (Bute) will feel he'd undeservingly lost in Nottingham, otherwise he'll be free for an immediate match with Ward (so there is no need to be mad about anything in that contract).

Let's face it: the only main issue for which Ward gets criticized on this thread is his new verbal BS dispatching. It's not about how good/weak he is, nor about how good/weak is Bute and other dozen of irrelevant & already examined technical issues. Ward won a fair tournament, good for him; that does still not entitle him to lie or to talk nonsense. If he does that for commercial purposes, then he's a very bad self-promoter since the inconsistency of his claims is so obvious that he ruins all his credibility.
Frankly I don't understand reasonable people constantly falling in the diversion trap: the only person who makes Ward looking somehow bad is Ward himself when talking plain BS. He should simply cut the crap and it'll be just fine (that is: no need of mentioning here D. Boone or L. Andrade as if they were pertinent to this thread).

Worst than that, Bute was willing to go to Oakland. At the time, Bute's haters were not believing that but in accepting small money to go to Froch backyard, Bute proved he was serious.

I respect Wards accomplishments, but he has been acting dodgy lately.

stop right there.you sir are an idiot.Ward fought "the best of the division".who might that be,Green,Bika and Abraham?a cheated victory over a one eye Kessler and a schooling to Fronch means nothing,NOTHING,Bute is and was the man to beat in years.Until he face Bute he hasn't fought "the best of the division",he fought Abraham,Green and Bika, that's not "the best of the division",bruh!you can say about Froch, after 26 may, that he faced "the best of the division",fanboy

Whether you think it was gruelling or not, it was a tournament from which once entered the opponents were mandatory and if you werent good enough you didn't survive & Ward came out on top

While Ward was taking apart Kessler Bute was avenging his brutal last minute KO to Libero Andrade

true.and when Bute was avenging his last seconds exhaustion KD Ward was fighting the best of the best club fighter Green, not to mention his war with a guy Calzaghe and Bute took to school.but it is true,he had it tought since one of those figth was all the way to Carlson,California..that's like a 20 minute drive from Oakland,it's a different country over there....

I think Ward is "pissed" that Bute and Froch will have a fight / maybe 2 and they will get all the attention from the media/people , audience and money !!
Probably he regrets that he didn't accept that offer from Bute to fight eachother in Oakland :D !

Ward knows that he isn't a draw/marketable fighter and if he won't have some good matches , people will forget him and the money won't come ! So sad .... i feel sorry for him !

If I would be in Ward's shoes I would take my mandatory challenger ( Anthony "The Dog" Dirrell ) , defend my title and then challenge Bute !!

belts only colect dust & only the money can pay your bills after you retire from the sport ........ :yep:deal

very true,a tough tournament where pokemon Abraham went to semifinals with 1 win and 2 loses, also one of those bums Bute fought made it all the way to semifinals by KO-ing a club fighter Ward couldn't.but yeah,a tough tournament no doubt, guys like JT and Abraham are beasts...not to mention Green or Bika or Dirrell who are already HOF material

No one is questioning Wards accomplishment. His UD over a game Froch was impressive. But he started dodging already during the tournament, namely his mate Dirrell. Ward is tiresome.

I don't get it, why Ward had a special regime during the s6 tournament and didn't fight at least once in other country ??!

When he fought with Kessler , Ward should've traveled in Denmark and not Kessler in U.S.A ( Oakland ) because Kessler was the star and the draw at smw , not Ward !!!

I am.This guy is the next Sven Ottke. He should have lost the fight with Kessler by DQ but,as Sven Ottke use to,had his own referee with some other rules of boxing apply only in jOakland. He also lost the bout to Boone but again,Sven Ottke had his own judges. Then he fought a club fighter,a Bute leftover and a shitty MW and people say he is greater than Calzaghe?WHAT THE **** ?!?! The only decent win this guy has is Froch, and not for long cause Bute at least has the balls to go to Eangland,...and if you think about it that was from a shitty tournament where he couldn't choose his opponents. Now that he can choose them,Bute has to prove himself,Dirrell is a buddy,Hopkins is a mentor,Anthony Dirrell is mando but the networks aren't interested and so on and so on.this guy is a disgrace
