Ward figured he had Kessler for the next big paycheck because he knows a Kessler fight sells 50.000 live and PPV etc.. But with Kessler now fighting Green, and Froch and Bute fighting eachother... the big paydays are not around the corner because Ward is still not a big draw.

Please, can't you see the contradiction in waht Ward is saying? I think that he doesn't like the fact that all the light is shining on Bute-Froch, leaving him outside.

Ward is obviously concerned that maybe Bute will not win, because he CLEARLY had a problem with the rematch Clause...put it together kid

He needs to stick to one excuse, not changing all the time. First Bute did not deserve a shot, and now Ward says his team did everything in their power to get the fight done.

That's pretty disappointing to hear. I hope he's only referring to his next fight.

 at Ward indirectly killing his little buzz and his only shot at a big money fight, cause he was too ***** to fight Bute, I love it, this needs to be the fate of all duckers

Ward will have more to be concerned if Bute beats Froch more decisively than he did.

If Ward wont fight number two in the division (Bute - he does not deserve it), and not his mandatory (Anthony - he is a brother), and the man in weight above him (Hopkins - too much mutual respect) and not the man in the weight below him (Martinez - dont know if I can make the weight), then who is he supposed to fight?

I know Team Ward wanted Kessler. They know they can beat him and Kessler has a fanbase unlike Ward, so there is some money in it. And IMO opinion Kessler is still a topdog, so it could be a cool grudge fight. But Kessler went for an easy payday instead, and it's time for Team Ward do adjust to reality.

He will have to face his demons and fight Bute.

Ward wanted an easy homecoming in Oakland but he wanted Bute to help him sell it by appearing on the undercard. What a LOSER!

Can you imagine? Ward knows Bute outsells him even in Oakland! :rofl

I dont think that a contract between Bute and Froch is in any way the business of Ward and he can be as mad as he wants, he looks like a spoil brat (the way you describ him, not the way I think he is really).

That being said, you think that a Champion going in the backyard of his mandatory should not ask for a revenge close in case of a defeat. If you do, I sure dont think you understand what is to manage a boxer's career.

Maybe you didnt know, but the rematch happen only if Bute loose, not if Bute win. And in a case in wich Bute loose to Froch, it will probably be harder to organize a fight with Ward since Bute would not have a belt anymore, so a rematch with Froch would give Bute the opportunity to regain his title and make the Ward fight appealing.

To finish, if this situation (in part because Ward didnt want to face Bute right after the S6) combine with other factor (Kessler moving up, etc.) make it so that Ward have problem to find a legit opponent, I dont think people like you will bash on Ward because of this. But when for the last two years Bute had the same problem, in your eyes he was only fighting bums.
