You sound like you know what youre talking about. Bute is obviously over hyped. He beat no one. Those people who buy tickets to his fights are blind most likely. Showtime payed him the big bucks probably out of pity, cause they're a charity business. Its all a big conspiracy to make Bute look good if you ask me. Poor Ward is the greatest boxer ever and its not his fault no one actually gives a **** about him. Well, i made that up, his 50 fans like him but thats not the point. Listening to Ward's arguments makes me wonder if it was really Dirrel who had brain dammage .

By the way, im new to this and im curious. Can ANYONE tell me the list of those GOAT boxers that OFFERED Bute a fight? Cause in a way it makes sense he hadnt fought the best if the "best" didnt want none of his, am i right? :hey

Unfortunately, it's not about what you may think, but about what Ward actually does.

Well, the media might add some unspoken ideas up to some extent. It's not the case with simple phrases heavy with meaning, moreover when they're written down by Ward himself with his own hand on his twitter account I am constantly following, and fully consistent with him being inconsistent.
Look for instance a message concerning Bute from this March 13: "Also, the guy from Canada had a chance to fight in the Super Six. He opted out!! So, him wanting to fight all of a sudden doesn't move me". You should be aware by now that Bute did not had any chance to fight in S6 since he was not invited when SHOwtime set up the participants (while being The Ring #2 SMW at the beginning of 2009 - Hershman was crystal clear on the issue, also Jean Bedard, president of InterBox and Bute's promoter commented "When it was announced, we were surprised we were not part of the tournament"), nor has he been invited as replacement during the tournament (SHOwtime opted for G. Johnson and A. Green, I won't speculate on their reasons). So the first two phrases are obviously at odds with reality.
Concerning the last phrase, it looks like only around the beginning of March 2012 Bute decided "all of a sudden" to fight Ward. This is another big BS piece considering that since the very beginning of Bute agreement (November 2010), SHOwtime plan was to set the fight between Bute and the S6 eventual winner: "Now, we have this opportunity with Lucian to take him and put him into the mix, and ultimately the winner of the Super Six and Lucian will be one of the biggest fights in super middleweight history" (a goal enthousiatically shared by Bute: "I want to prove that I'm the best super middleweight in the world and this opportunity will allow me do just that"). Hershman was even thinking at that moment: "Whoever comes out of the Super Six will have accomplished a major feat [...] I can't imagine they won't want to wrap that up and be part of this unification fight with Lucian Bute. That would be the crowning achievement for them. I think it gets made in late 2011or early 2012."
So Bute signs an agreement with SHOwtime in late 2010 ultimately aimed to fight with S6 winner (who turned out to be Ward), constantly reiterates his goal over and over since then, should one believe that poor Andre Ward living in a completely isolated ivory tower heard about Bute's quest only at the beginning of March 2012?! This is obvious BS. One should consider also that in March 2011, [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO_H29ikNzs"]the very same Andre Ward was claiming[/ame]

the very same Andre Ward was claiming that Bute "does a good job" and he should face him after S6 for clearing out confusion at SMW, then he changed his mood ("all of a sudden") just after winning the tournament: "To be perfectly honest, no disrespect to Bute and his team, but they've sat back and they've fought B-level and C-level guys and he did what he was supposed to do [...] he's just been sitting back, waiting, while we've been fighting for the past two and a half years against top-level competition. So I don't have to go to Lucian Bute right now. [...] We're going to sit back and I'm going to rest and we'll see what's next. I'm open for a Mikkel Kessler clash. I would love to get that rematch and settle that score, since he feels like it wasn't a legitimate victory" (no longer "a good job" and SMW confused rankings) claiming the new condition "To be perfectly honest, I think Bute has to beat somebody. I'm just gonna be frank with you: He has to beat somebody, an A-level guy, to get a shot." while Bute restated months before the match "I definitely want to fight the winner of the tournament" and just before it "I am ready to fight the winner. If Carl Froch wins, I'm ready to fight in Nottingham [England] to make this fight happen. And if it's Ward, I can go to Oakland". Interbox tried to approach Ward's promoter but Ward's team reluctance made them to change their minds and to go for Froch.
Right now, the "perfectly honest" and "frank" Ward claimed his disappointment for Bute having reached a match deal (with rematch clause) with Froch instead of... (well, at this point it is rather unclear what would have had pleased Ward since he changed his mind again forgetting about previous declarations; you should check also his twitter page in order to see even more inconsistencies). To be perfectly honest and frank, Ward should just keep his mouth shut about anything concerning Bute's choices (he hadn't even the balls to tweet his message about "the guy from Canada" also to Bute).

Man when did I say I dissagree with a rematch clause?...I never said a fighter shouldnt have won...I said that WARD is concerned with the clause cuz if he loses, then he will be tied up with Froch again, get it together man

Man I cant read all of this...but glancing at my quote, Im assuming ur basically trying to prove that Ward lies?...If Ward has ever contradicted himself, would u call it lying, as if he HAD to lie?...Ward is not that kind of person...If u ever caught him in a lie, he was probably mispeaking...I dont see a need for Ward to lie, duck, dodge...To me, he seems like a real champion...he knows what he has to do...he's gonna do those things
