The problem is that Stevenson was fighting at 168 just a fight before the Dawson's fight so he wouldn't be weight drained at 168.

And Ward said it. Stevenson is not worthy enough at this point.:patsch

GGG is a highly entertaining fighter, while Ward is painful to watch and has few fans.

what does that have to do with ward being the real deal (which he obviously is) and golovkin entertaining you beating up b-graders?

it's not all golovkin's fault, but those are the stats

I wouldn't tbh, not to fond of watching a fighter who headbutts and clinches his opponent to death

I agree, the sport is better off without him. His ugly style turns away potential boxing fans.

It doesn't improve Ward's argument at all. He's supposed to be top 3 p4p and he has already fought and beat all the important guys at 168 so there is even more reason for him to move up in weight. Golovkin has the excuse that he still has things to accomplish and guys to fight at 160. What reasonable excuse has Ward got for not moving up?

That's why Butterbean existed. He was entertaining....but just because he was fun to the WWE crowd didn't make him a boxer.

GGG is a better boxer than Ward, he doesn't need to use illegal tactics to win (like headbutts and hitting while holding).

Golovkin is a better man in other ways too. He's not a prima donna who refuses to fight away from Kazakstan, and he isn't a disturbed megalomaniac who brags about being the "Son of God".

Gennady is willing to do random PED testing. Why won't Ward take the test? Why was Ward working with PED guru Victor Conte?

Stevenson already announced that he was going to fight Hopkins in Canada and that's what his fans wanted to see.
Ward definitely isn't going to fight block BHOP.
