“I’m ready,” he told International Business Times, on the possibility of facing Golovkin,

“If you really want to fight, less talking in the media. Let’s get the network (HBO) involved, let’s put it in their hands, put it in our team’s hands. Andre Ward is available and we can make it happen.

“If you look at my track record, I’ve always been ready and willing to fight everybody."

"At the end of the day, I’m concerned about making a living for my family, but my legacy is really important to me.

"And the only way you get that legacy cemented where you can walk into the Hall of Fame and get voted in, is to fight the best, and that’s what I want to do.”

This was published on SkySports an hour ago so Ward v GGG is looking more likely now. GGG is not going to get Floyd so he must fight Ward. So who wins, Ward v GGG?

You think ROC is gonna guarantee him the $8 mil, and Ward will concede to the weight he claims to fight at....
Cuz if so, ward can sue GGG for breach if he takes a different fight.

GGG has already signed 3 different contracts for this to happen.

GGG is a small middleweight ...

Of course Andre Ward will fight him at 168 ...

Just like GGG would fight welters at 160 ...

Both fighters need to fight other fighters the same size.

Ask yourselves why no other MW are chasing welters who are at the end of their careers? Cos no credit would be given for beating them.

That hasn't stopped Tripple Bum has ?it:dead

Maybe because he wants to earn big $$$ fighting big names, like everyone else.

Whats wrong with that? Boxing is a business after all...

Ward is the only one talking about it in the media, he keeps talking about it actually, trying to get some of GGG's fame on GGG's back.

I dont think this fight will happen.

Ward thinks he is the big name (he has accomplished far more) but doesnt sell tickets. He still wants the concessions and advantages.

GGG's team are smart know they have a good ticket seller. They wont fight Ward on his terms.

So Duran was a natural middleweight? I guess people who have Duran on their resume, do not get credit for it?

    And demanding 60% lololol.
Nah, seriously though.....Roc very well may push Ward into the fight.
They're in deep right now and need a financial boost. They have rights to wards next 3 fights, and Cottos next 2.

They've also got Cotto by a $40 mil noose.

If Jay Z wants to turn a profit, he's gonna need his talent to make concessions to make big fights.
GGG will do 168, but ROC has to carry the financials and promote it properly and force their fighter to back his claim....that 1, he's clean, and 2, he weighs 180lbs.

K2 has already gotten GGG to sign of on it.

That could be the PLEASANT SURPRISE.
