https://twitter.com/sullivanbarrera I suggest to follow this man, some of his latest tweets are hilarious
I have to admit, i'm not surprise at all. I just wonder how many fans still think he's somethinh special. He had his tune up fight already, if he is even half as good some nut huggers are saying, he shouldn't have any problems to fight decent competion, saying top5-top10 rated opponents. Or he shouldn't have any problems to move 3 pounds up. He's no Alexander, not Bhop nor any kind of future atg. Far from it.
Has anyone ever ridiculed Ward like this on Twitter before? His page used to be as quiet as a church mouse.
After the Super Six I thought Ward was going to fight Bute and then move up to LHW to make waves. atsch
The dude is trying his best here. Now he has some potential opponent looking to get paid money to fight him. The audacity of this new generation. The opponent also wants a signed contract well in advance of the fight? Why should Andre sign it now to give that guy all that extra time to prepare and gain an advantage? It's just not right! You guys are trying to kill Andre Ward
Some media guy asked Ward about the heavyweight comment when he did that round table interviews at the Cotto vs Canelo fight. Ward smiled and said he was serious and will still do it. But I cant imagine when he plans on making this leap from LHW over cruiser straight to HW! lol
Him transitioning to cruiserweight would take ten years of tune ups in itself. He would move up two pounds at a time
DOn't see how anyone can knock Ward. He had injuries and promotional issues. As long as he starts fighting at least twice annually, he should get back to the top of the P4P list. He's a great, great fighter.
The "had" part is right. He has been with RocNation for a year and fought once against a C level opponent. The "is" part is wrong. It should be "was". He didn't look good against Smith, and he may retire any time.
He looked very good against SMith. I don't know what you expect from the guy after his long layoff, but I thought he did very well for himself in that "tune-up." Let's see how 2016 unfolds for him. He's not that young anymore, but I imagine he still has a few years left at a high level. Judging by your SN, I can see why you'd say what you would about him. Even with his level of "rust," I'd favor him in a fight with Gennady. I actually think stylistically he'd be poisonous for someone like triple G.
