Ward should actually be #1. What's floyd done over the last couple of years that compares to Ward's accomplishments?

 

Not a dam thing ! And he only fights once a year ..**** that no fighter that does what he does deserves the top spot over fighters as active and who are winning like Ward !

Bradley's resume is deeper, and if you want to call into question the Pac win, we definitely can call into question a win over Dawson who was absolutely dead at the weight.

Bradley has more champs on his resume and is undefeated just like Ward...and has the better best win.

 

There is nothing to call into question about the Dawson fight. He wanted 168, got it and was beaten soundly and unequivocally.

 

i'n not claiming ward knew that dawson was drained. although he must have had an idea he would be as that's what most people were talking about before the fight. plus, dawson looks real tight on the scales at 175. doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that dawson was going to be very much weaker at 168. but that wasn't my point...

i'm saying that dawsons trainer isn't about to shout from the roof tops that dawson has been finding it real hard boiling down to the weight, getting beat up in sparring, getting knocked out in sparring etc etc...

ward already had home advantage, the weight, and two judges on the panel... scully wasn't going to give ward an even bigger mental advantage by telling the truth, he was going to tell a load bull**** about how ready dawson was, and how well he was making the weight. because that's what members of your team should do... talk up your chances to try and get an edge, not ripping them to shreads, as that would be completely stupid.

this was dawsons fault, not wards. he called him out and saying he would come to his weight class... so dawson only has himself to blame.

 

and he was dead at the weight.

 

ward will never be better than calzaghe. never!
