I can't stand to look at that cowardly SOB! SOB still running from Kovalev after his judges gave him a gift, now he will hold on to Kovalev's titles until he is stripped!

 

The people aren't stupid and (hopefully) everyone can see right through this guy. He lost and everyone except him sees it and even if he gets stripped and retires tomorrow, the people know...

 

Did you guys take note of what Ward was talking about and I agree 100%. He mentions double standards. Just look on this board alone which is a cesspool of double standards. I see 10 ped threads a day knocking guys like AJ. Today one was made on Wilders new opponent Washington being on PEDs so who will Wilder fight next. Jacobs hasn't taken a test lmao. Scroll down some more, Povetkin on roids is a top 20 HV all time.

This is just on the topic of PEDs alone mind you. Gannicus thread about Davis holding the title hostage after 2 weeks of winning it is another example of just how ludacris the double standards are for some of you where even logic fails to enter the fray resembling the illogical mindset of a pregnant female during her first trimester when her hormones are going haywire.

Now here's the kicker after I've digressed. He mentions why these guys who are the "Peoples champs" lose and fall short. "PASSES". Let me repeat. "PASSES". You guys hold these so called "Peoples Champs" to lower standards than the Wards, the Floyds and other hated boxing figures of the world. Ward descriptedly describes how these "PASSES" given by fans and media effect the mindset of these guys which in turn leads to their ruin.

****ing brilliant **** from none other than a real "Great" fighter who has in no way, shape or form been a machination or been spawned from the media and other forms of biased popularity contests. Instead of hating this guy you should listen to him. He's one of the greats of this era. His opinion is 100 fold more valuable than anyone here on the matter of boxing. Brilliant stuff.

 

Ward is one of the most well spoken great champions of the era.
What he said about Kovalev was on the money. Kovalev isn't handling his loss very well, getting drunk and cussing out Jackson and everyone around him. There is no way Kovalev will beat Ward in the rematch.
I like how Ward refused to play into the immature Mayweather's attics and took the intelligent higher ground.

 

I've not been his biggest fan in the past, but that's another great interview from Ward. Makes it hard not to like him.

He was bang on about some of the people who said Kovalev would simply destroy him. It's very hard to see something pan out completely differently than what you thought, and it takes a big person to admit they were wrong and say it was a close fight. Much easier to just cry robbery I guess.

Sounds like he wants the rematch too. Something I'd say most people want.

ward is a good man. I still dont personally know who won that fight just like i am not personally sure who won the leonard vs hagler fight. some damn fights are just too close to call.

and anybody just 100 percent sure that guy won is biased.

 

Of course Kovelav's not taking the "loss" well because he didn't loose at all he got cheated out of his titles, and he beats Ward even woese in the rematch that's if Ward is man enough to give him one.

 

Ward hit the nail on the head. The 'Krusher' never showed up. Or maybe there never was any Krusher.

He should have known after the Chilemba fight he'd have to be a lot more aggressive against Ward. He learned nothing from that fight and performed pretty much the same. There was no urgency , no Krushin , no banging out his shoulders , no going out trying to 'take years off his prime' .
He simply didn't do enough nor push himself anywhere close to the limit he should have. Ward from the 3rd round on fought for it more . outside and on the inside. Kovalev got penalised cos he only wanted it his way on the outside and did absolutely nothing in close quarters.
I'd have no issue Kovalev winning it , but i got no problem with him losing it either.

 

IMO Ward knows that he lost.
I think his fans knows it too....
