both Pac vs JMM and Pac vs Bradley were 8 to 4 or 9 to 3 type of fights and both went to the wrong fighter so no not 1 was a close fight and the other wasnt.

Pac vs JMM might be a little closer but its pretty much the same amount of rounds.
even giving Pac a 7 - 5 type of decision vs JMM is injustifiable.

The last 2 years boxing decisions have gone to **** anyway.
There have always been bad decisions but its getting pretty extreme, lately on any high profile card its almost irrelevant who actually wins the fight.
Also the decisions are getting more and more outrageous..... i mean Rios barely won a single round yet they stole him a decision as well.

What actually happens in the ring does not seem to matter anymore as the promoter or whoever else fixes the fight just gets away with it.
And we ***** and cry for a few weeks maybe months and get on with our lives as if nothing happened.

Don't you know that you generate way more power when your wrist bends like that.

I think Dempsey talked about it in his book. You need as many bent and contorted joints as possible to establish a power-line the delivers maximum force.

You don't know **** about boxing.

All this talk of giving the belt back is so ****ing stupid, I thought Pac won handily but you take your belt back through a rematch. I am fan of Pacs but you can tell it was a ******* who thought this **** up.

Ward is right. The fighters need to stand up and start doing the right thing. This has happened in other sports. Football, hasketball, hockey, in all of those sports the players agreed to concessions that were fro the good of the sport. And in the long run it has benefited those players.

Now look at the other major sport where the players didn't do that, baseball. The sport has consistently lost more and more popularity of the years and the players are a handlfull of haves and many have nots much like boxing.

belts really mean **** when you are at Pacs level so he could fight JMM and it would mean something with or without a belt. Its guys like Bradley who need a belt to make a payday.

That is not what I'm talking about. Fundamentally the importance is the perception of the fans. In the sports I mentioned major concession was an agreement to a salary cap so the leagues could have parity. At the time the sports were losing popularity as fans felt that the leagues were becoming haves and haves not and most of the country felt that their teams stood no chance against the moneyed dynasties. So that specific concession doesn't apply to boxing but the concept still applies.

In boxing the problem is the perception of the fans that the sport is corrupt. And in most of their minds this decision just proved it. The fighters have to start taking a stand and Bradly throwing his WBO belt in the trash would be a good start. I think that boycotting Nevada would also go a long way.
