im far from a joke...im only a "joke" to golovkin fanboys....that doesnt rate in real boxing fans opinions now let me simply explain the difference....i ***** about golovkin getting hypothetical wins because he hasnt beaten anyone....he had his first real fight and it was a tough one...he finally went against something better than b- level and against a guy that was a little bigger...and a guy he was supposed to KO.....and struggled......the rest of his body of work is against C level comp....ward on the otherhand has beaten highly rated opposition on a few occasions...his resume is levels above golovkins...any real fan knows this...while bute has failed to do anything signifigant against top competition.....its called "reading between blurred lines"... now let me ask you...when exactly did ward/dirrell make sense? logically? dirrell had 2 fights in the super 6...and took an L in the first one(even though he obviously outboxed froch)....he was then fouled/injured in his 2nd fight...and took alot of time off and came back against low level opposition and seemed reluctant to fight....when exactly was ward supposed to make that fight? realistically? ......prior to that wards best win was probably edison miranda...dirrels was curtis stevens or anthony handshaw....neither ward or dirrell were household names...and they were friends......you have this idea that magically these guys were supposed to have made a fight...because you want to put ward under a microscope and you need this insane idea to make an argument....look at their careers to the super 6 and tell me realistically when that would have been sensible....bottom line is you cant without being ridiculous and reaching desperately.... to answer your last part....NO. they could have found someone else to replace ward in the tournament. Ward was far from the favorite and not a household name. wasnt bute supposed to be a big deal? was he in the tournament? if they didnt want to travel to wards country/hometown they could have told him to pound sand and find someone else to fight...but they didnt...they agreed...fact of the matter is ward hasnt ever had a tough time getting guys to fight him.....its a myth created by desperate people like you you still didnt answer the question...would you drive 1.5 hours to work each day when equal pay, growth and benefits are 10 minutes from your house? ur another clown who tries to act fair and impartial when clearly you arent
Even by your tawdry standards this is poor. Me pointing out a few things and answering your dumb questions has really got your panties in a bunch - and the whole forum thinks your a joke. When you weren't posting the boards were in almost universal agreement that this place was better for it. "would you drive 1.5 hours to work each day when equal pay, growth and benefits are 10 minutes from your house?" This question alone proves without a doubt you're a straight up ****** unable to grasp any kind of context. I'd bother explaining why in detail but it'd be like pissing in the wind. Ward had a steady, unspectacular rise up the ranks then the S6 landed in his lap and he refused to travel. His success in that tournament - which, whilst he would of almost def still won fell very favourably for him - then made him a star and able to further dictate terms from thereon out. Dre is undoubtedly a great fighter but you act like he's never had things all his own way and he as. You won't get any further response from me as you're going back on ignore. Good luck for the future - with your one eyed view on the world you're going to need it.
lol...ur a clown man the super 6 landed in his lap? what do you know, the rest of us don't, that suggest ward couldn't have gotten the same fights on his own without the super 6? I'm willing to be the answer is nothing..... you've literally answered nothing...you cant even tell me when ward/dirrell would have been logical....all you can say is "ward ducked dirrell"..... good riddance dude...ur a joke trying to act like you are unbiased per usual when you cant debate logically and refute...you tuck tail and retreat...and resort to intelligence insults....LOL...typical
He wasted a lot of time in court, the S6 run was good but that was a long time ago. In my job the standard is what have you done for me lately, But, he got in there with a monster and is getting ready to do it again. So, respect for that, Still a spoiler style to watch tho, my hope is that they both elevate each other in this 2nd fight. Nerves out of the way now....
Good riddance he says when replying to my posts for months whilst being too stupid to see I only see the occasional post due to him being on my ignore list. You get owned by anyone with half a brain and reply with nonsense which when people get tired of replying to you claim sort of victory. When you're arguing that the S6 happening wasn't a fortunate occurrence for him then we're done here. I've said it before, you're either a sad troll or legit dumbass. Either way you've had enough of my time. Claim another victory here you cretin and don't bother sending any direct responses to my posts again - it's a waste of your time as you're never getting another response from me again. I'm sure you'll ignore that being the shameless idiot you are but for any outside observers, I don't want it said that you weren't told to pack up your toys and play elsewhere.
S6 was great for him. He had a few advantages and fortunate events happen - Dirrell pulling out with injury being the biggest one but he really established himself as a force then. Then he stupidly ducked Bute and got involved in a pointless and unwinnable legal battle against a guy who by all accounts did a decent job with his promotion up until that point. Saying that is blasphemy to some of these dickriders though. It's funny as whenever I want to see a fighter lose it's nearly always because of their dip**** fans rather than the fighter themself. The funniest thing that could happen in the rematch would be for Ward to get jobbed the same way Kovalev did in the first match setting up a rubber match to decide the trilogy after each fighter was the beneficiary of a robbery in the opening two fights.
when i put someone on ignore i never see their posts..lol...but you still see mine...thats funny i dont have to claim victory..its apparent....you cant answer any of my questions with anything logical again...show us proof that ward couldnt have gotten any of those fights without a tournament? tell me...would you drive an hour and a half each way to work when you have the same job with equal pay, growth opportunity and benefits only 10 minutes from your home? tell me...when would ward/dirrell have made sense to make as a fight?
Good post. I think Ward would have got a lot more praise for his performance if he hadn't got the decision. People get angry at perceived injustice and it blinded them to what Ward had actually just achieved in being able to hang with Kovalev - the king of 175. Very unfair on Ward and I can see why he is pissed off with peoples attempts to discredit him. I say this as someone who was super pissed off at losing money on this fight while believing Kovalev won clearly.
ok joff so answer these questions has ward ever had trouble getting a fight done? when would have ward/dirrell been logical? or made sense? would you drive 1.5 hours each way to a job when you could get equal pay, benefits and growth opportunity doing the same job 10 minutes from your home? do you have evidence to suggest ward couldnt have gotten fights, with participants from the super 6, without the tournament being made? now i know Booger88 cant answer these...maybe you can?
OK, here we go. 1. Yes, Ward has had trouble getting a fight done. 2. Ward/Dirrell would have made sense during the super six tournament. (or afterwards) 3. I would choose the long commute - absence makes the heart grow fonder. 4. Yes, I personally do have evidence which suggests Ward couldn't have gotten fights with super6 participants without actually participating in said tournament.
yeah look joff...im sure youd love to continue this cat and mouse game where you try hard to be funny to deflect the fact that you have no answers to my questions and pose no threat to me in an intelligent debate.....your life must be terrible
