And I think people play this down a lot, its got to weigh on your mind in negotiations when it comes to officials, location etc. Probably another reason he can't get a half decent fight.
Holyfield Hopkins Tyson Duran To name a few, were ATG's and "dirty" as well. Does this affect their legacy?
Some of holyfields wins a little tainted but Tyson, Duran were great to watch and faught the best comp possible same with b-hop. And Tyson got punished for when he was dirty unlike ward For instance I'd take a credit away from holy fields wins over Tyson because he was headbutting Tyson at will and getting away with it, just like ward vs kessler. Ward should have been dq'd for holding and headbutting
Sure they were good to watch but Tysona dn Duran were filthy fighters. Tyson threw elbows, headbutts on the inside...thats before we even go into biting peoples ears, chests and trying to break peoples arms. Throughout his whole, unbeatable streak Tyson was throwing elbows and headbutts too Duran landed more low shots against Buchanan than shots above the belt! And Ward has fought the best too. Hes beaten everyone with a title at 168
If Ward isn't a big PPV draw like he wants to be now then why doesn't he go out and earn the big PPV slot? It won't come to him if he just sits at home moaning.
About fighting Bute: "he needs to fight other guys" About fighting Froch in England: "why should I go there, I am the man". About fighting Stevenson at 168: "He is not worthy enough at this point" About fighting Kovalev: "not PPV material". Final comment: "everybody is ducking me and I need the fans to help me"!
