I know boxing fans are going to think I`m stupid so this is aimed at MMA fans I didn`t put it in the MMA forum because they would be biased and wouldn`t know much about Ward I put it on here because whenever you mention super mac you get a response! Since Connor weighed 170lbs by fight time against Floyd this means he could fight Ward if he came back down to super middle, some guy said Nate beats Ward in sparring often I`ve seen Nate punching pads and I could punch them harder! I would like to see Connor`s effective outside game against a brilliant outside (and inside) fighter with longer arms than Floyd in the shape of Ward. I feel the right that hit Kovalev would KO Connor, does anyone think Connor could could stop Ward? Should I write this in the MMA forum instead?

This is such a dumb post..

Ward kills him in a boxing match it's obvious mma fans knew conor would lose, conor fans thought he would win big difference

Just because you can hit pads harder than nate diaz doesn't mean you would beat him in a boxing match or mma match.

Ward wouldn't beat either of them in mma, i remember a interview with ward talking about diaz choking him out on when ward wanted to try a litttle grappling

If he throws away everything he learned about power punching from Bruce Lee and from his General Martial Arts training and comes in pitter pattering like he did against Mayweather, then there are even female professional boxers out there who will easily put him away-especially with his seemingly asthmatic propensity to gas out.

The ''MMA lunatic'' (who said that) is none other than Andre ''SOG'' Ward himself lol.

''They more than hold their own'' - Translation: when I spar the Diaz brothers they get the better of me. They beat me up.

Dre doesn't play in sparring he approaches it like a real fight.

''Yeah, I've worked with Andre for years, we're real familiar with each other. I've been a part of his development, and obviously he's been a part of mine, and you know the sparring is extremely competitive, sometimes too competitive, to where people get hurt, like before the Carl Froch fight.

''It's extremely competitive sparring that you really can't find anywhere else in the world''

Dre beating up on guys from lower weight divisions in sparring. No mercy.

You'd have a better chance of seeing Donald Trump unite humanity as one than of seeing McGregor beat Ward in boxing.

McGregor wouldn't beat many boxers no matter ward... Jeez! Couldnt you see he can't box for toffee!

The stiff postured chin in the air funny moving fool is the only one that thinks he can box..

He'd possibly beat Freddie Flintoff though.. lol

Boxing fans love shitting on their own sport, he can't box yet has a competitive fight with a boxer who shuts most other guys out.

If mcgrgeor can't box then 90 percent of boxing is full of bums
And any bum can go 10 rounds with a atg

If you think that was competitive you don't understand the science of boxing. I guess that's why you're an mma fan, eh! Lol

The reason I wrote the post is because of idiots like the one who wrote if Connor remembers the Bruce Lee method of punching with power then he would beat Ward!

I didn`t think it was competitive but there is a good film study on youtube that shows Connor gave a good account of himself, I don`t think Connor could fight like that against a brilliant super middle like Ward and know hardly anything about MMA, I`ve recently become interested in boxing again, I used to love the ring magazine and watched my fist boxing match when I was 4 years old, Hagler v Minter and that`s the first racism I ever saw also (bottles flung at Hagler by racist fans!).

Maybe more than 90% of 170lbs boxers could go 10 rounds or more vs a 149.5lbs atg.

Ward's takedown defence is nonexistent although his own single leg takedown has promise. I'd say that once Conor gets up close Ward will have to draw on his extensive grappling experience and get some 'dirty boxing' going. If he can keep it standing I'd favour him, but, let's be honest, he won't. Conor might take some damage in the early exchanges but I think he takes Ward down and submits him.

did mcgregor weigh in 170 at the weigh in? ..do you think canelo was only 152 when he fought may? lol he was dry in that weigh in as well, probably mid 160s on fight night.
