    I think Calzaghe would have been a nightmare for Ward. Calzaghe could break up an opponents rhythm more effectively than Ward and his hand speed and accuracy are at least as good. The real nail in the coffin for Ward would be Calzaghe's work rate. It's impossible to prepare for someone like Calzaghe - where the hell do you find a southpaw with that kind of volume? Calzaghe was a one off.

    Ward would struggle with Calzaghe throwing 100 punches a round. Calzaghe 116-112.

    Ward is todays P4P number 1, Joe is all time's P4P number 1.

    Calzaghe wins, by outboxing via jab and flurrying like a ****** at medium-close distance.

    There is no counter to flurrying like a ******.

    Ward would land some clean shots for sure though.

    Calzaghe on a really bad off day beats anyone except Ward and Roy Jones Jr and on a good day beats them both.




    Calzaghe, once in a generation athlete. Messi standard, without the need for PEDs.
