Ward neutralizes Stevensons money punch and wins a decision prime for prime, stops the older smaller gas tanked version of Stevenson late in the fight.
Adonis is one of the most dangerous front runners boxing has seen, and Ward never fought anyone like him (which is saying something as Andre has a pretty diverse resume stylistically). Stevenson always wanted that fight. If it gets past 6, I go with Andre. Stevenson has the tools to get to him early, so a knockout by him early wouldn't surprise me, especially since Andre can take a few rounds to diagnose and dismantle his opponent. Great fight and clash of styles IMO. Shame we never got it.
Would never happen Ward wouldnt go to Canada &Pimp wouldnt go to Wards backyard. Both were Home fights only types. Would have been a heck of a dirty fight while it lasted though
He would give a lesson, for sure. How to stifle an opponent, how to grapple, wrestle, hold and use of the head. How to totally nullify your opponent and stink the joint out while gaining a shut out, incredibly boring decision then be immediately hailed, post fight as ' the greatest pound for pound fighter, on the planet ' by Max Kellerman. Then Ward would take a couple of digs at GGG. All of this against the current version of Adonis Stevenson.
Which Stevenson? Prime Stevenson? Or the shot to bits Stevenson that fought Gvozdyk and got a gift against Jack?
Stevenson would knock Ward out. It takes a real A+ boxer to defeat Stevenson and stand up to his best shots. Plus with Stevenson’s mean streak and mentality... he’d retaliate right away after the first low blow with one of his own. Ward would stop that **** real quick. Andre would definitely have his moments but Stevenson would catch him eventually and finish him. And if this were held on Stevenson’s home turf north of the Canadian border with his judges and a ref that would actually do his job and be in Wards face when he starts pulling his dirty ****... Stevenson no doubt! Only two maybe three guys can beat Adonis right in his backyard without relying on home field corruption.
