Andre Ward vs Alexander Brand on Aug 6th

Who cares who either guy fights as long as they fight in November.

 

I thought Kovalev fighting Chilemba was a good match up to fight in preparation for a fighter like Ward

I dont know about this fight, maybe just a cobweb shaker of a fight or a way to get a KO to sell the Kovalev fight

 

Brand is one of the best fighters in the world.

People who are commenting haven't watched him fight.

He'll push Ward, but I see Ward getting the tko.

 

yeah man completely pointless...stay busy/stay sharp fight before a huge clash in november....totally pointless! maybe ward should just retire! lol......you guys praise one guy for "staying busy" against bums....but want to make fun of ward for fighting a guy like brand ahead of one of the biggest fights in boxing.....when lil g does it there is nothing big behind it....just one more bum after another

 

Good. He needs the in -ring activity .

 

It's a weak pick but at least he gets to shed some rust prior to Kovalev so there can be no excuses.

Team Ward have had ample time though to of gotten a better quality opponent and was really hoping for better.

HIs resume isn't that bad. Donfack and Beketimirov are good opponents to have. Donfack just finished upsetting Ahlin and Beketimirov was a bit of a touted prospect.

 

Since Jan 1st 2015.

Ward has boxed twice and completed 20 rounds.

Kovalev has boxed three times and completed 16 rounds.


So can we agree this "Wards inactivity is an issue" line can be finished with now and there is no excuses if and when Ward gets messed up?
