Andre Ward .::vs::. Allan Green

Don't see Green beating Ward...... but I am warming to the idea of him beating Kessler. Not sure yet..... want to see the Ward fight 1st.

 

I'm not betting on Green but I'll certainly be routing for him come the 19th! Something about Ward rubs me the wrong way plus I want to see everyone almost even on points when stage 3 starts.

 

Seriously? I have been absolutely shocked about how much of a gentleman that Ward his. Very polite and complimentary to his fighters and an excellent fighter.

 

He didnt seem nice to Kessler, who he headbutted 27 times.

Just his style of fighting. I seriously don't believe that any one of his headbutts were intentional. He did lead with his head but i don't know if thats against the rules

But anyway, i think most people would do whatever it takes to win

 

The problem with the headbutts was caused by both fighters, and I said before the fight that it would be a problem. It was the styles of both fighters. Kessler likes to move forward as he throws his punches, its a habit that he picked up from fighting so many bums that would try to run away as he was throwing his shots, while Ward tends to step forward into the pocket and look for counters as the other guy throws his shots.

Bottom line is Ward is a hated fighter really based on the fact that he beat up Kessler and has begin to get credit for it. Just as Dawson was after beating Adamek.

Green only has a puncher's chance. And that phrase is really just a disguised way of saying a guy needs to get lucky. No one can expect a guy that lost nearly every round to Edison Miranda to outbox Andre Ward.

 

Ward IS a gentleman outside of the ring.

But he is also VERY DIRTY in the ring (at least against fighters he feel he has to be dirty to beat - which may not include Green... we will see).

 

No ****! He's a model citizen. One of the nicest people you could ever meet in person. He's very humble, very polite, has an extreme work ethic, is God-fearing, well spoken, cares about others....the list goes on and on and on. What the **** is wrong with people? How do so many people hate Andre Ward? How does he even rub anyone the wrong way? HOW? I don't get it. If you have a problem with Andre Ward, you have a problem with yourself.
