Ward made a close fight against Kovalev in the first match but Hopkins was almost knocked out by Kovalev in the last round. So, Ward is better than Hopkins.

Second this. And I also agree the fight would be a total shitfest. You'd have to judge it more like Dancing for the Stars with punches than a fight.

Hopkins lost to Calzaghe in a very competitve fight. I believe Calzaghe and Ward have a very similar type of aggression in the ring. It would be a very close competitive fight. I voted Hopkins but could go either way. Young Hopkins wins. Older Hopkins loses.

There would be a draw with no punches thrown

Depends who lands the better headbutts

    Serious answer

I think Ward would nick it by a couple of rounds

The first Kovalev fight is debatable (I had Ward losing), but the guy hasn't officially lost a bout since he was a kid

Hopkins is as crafty as they come, but then again so is Ward

I think Ward is just that little bit better and would win on points 9/10 times.

There wouldn't be much in it and a lot of the rounds would be ugly imo.

I doubt it would be a fight that would be worth watching over and over again, that's for sure

No comment. I'd rather watch paint dry.

    At 175, Ward.
This would be the second most unwatchable fight in history, second to only Chris Byrd attempting to walk down Davarryl Williamson.

Ward would have outclinched, outspoiled and outfouled old Hopkins all day. Wide decision.
