This isn't a fight I want to see. I don't like either boxer. Flores is mediocre and dull to watch. Ward clinches, clamps and holds on like an octopus, and uses dishonest officials to ensure his wins.
Eh, that's a little unfair. Benny did beat Ding-A-Ling when it still meant something (if you just looked at his almost .500 record now and weren't around then you wouldn't realize what a dangerous contender he was). Otherwise, though, yeah, his 2nd best victory might be over Hugo Pineda, then in his 40's and who previously had challenged Kostya Tszyu all the way down at 140lbs...
This content is protected Sadly just hypothetical Ward-Bellew Talks about so I figured Ward-Flores warm up fight seems logical (yet so strange)
I know smaller fighters kick bigger fighters ass everyday but you have to admit it would be interesting Ward at Heavyweight. Flores is a career Cruiserweight but fought at Heavyweight over a dozen times. It will be interesting to compare Ward-Flores to Ward-Smith lol.
Due to the size difference a dangerous fight for Ward if he's declined (and I think he has, but not enough to lose), but if he's anything like the Kovalev fights he should be too good for a guy like Flores.
not too unfair when you can only come up with one decent name out of 38 fights and that fight took place ten years ago.
i think the result is so obvious there is no need to vote. ward could have both arms amputated and still shut flores out 120-108.
Despite We Be Airheads ranking Flores at #6 hw (lol) he really is pretty terrible all round. Ward takes this easily.
