This. I'm a huge Ward fan, but you can't say how who would do against a brutal punching ATG 175-pounder when he's never fought at the weight, it's silly.

Smart ass, 38 years old Tiger who was better at middleweight and pretty small for LHW, i said Ward is never this open and he is not, he doesnt get in to trading shots like Tiger did here.

Foster by KO. But to be fair we have yet to see Ward at 175. He might be one of those guys (like Foster himself) who is just really great at one weight only.

Ward is a fine technician and capable of giving a variety of looks, but he can get pretty sloppy and his punches aren't always terribly crisp. He also had a tendency to put the earmuffs on when he tries to force his way inside for infighting or a clinch. Any clean power shot landed by Foster is going to do serious damage. And he would unquestionably land some very clean ones with his ranginess, timing, form, and ability to set them up. Ward really has nothing to win with here. If he somehow made it the distance, it'd be a great accomplishment.

Ward's ring weight is about 180, like most of his opponents at 168. Seriously, how much longer is this nonsense going to continue? The 168 lb division is "168" only in name. The guys Ward has been fighting are not smaller than Foster's 175 opponents. In the current 175 lb division, guys are often 190 or higher in the ring. So what does it even mean to say "can I see Ward fight at 175 one time"? He's been fighting guys weighing 175 or more for most of his career.

Ward is not a 39 year old career middleweight. And while we're at it, hell yes Ward is better than Tiger at probably everything except chin.

How is he unproven at 175? In the current 175 division, very few guys actually weigh 175 or less in the ring. Many weigh over 190, which didn't happen in the days of same day weigh-ins. So Ward is supposed to fight guys weighing 190 or more to prove than he could hang with glass jaw Foster at 175? What the hell kind of sense does that make? The guys Foster fought were actually 175 or less in the ring.

:lol:Even if what you said were true, you accepted the part about chin. See what Foster did to Tiger's titanium chin?
