I did not see anything from the Kessler 2 fight that would suggest Froch will have a better chance this time around. It was not a close fight before, it will not be a close fight after.

Froch I think at this point is just trying to leverage his home court advantage in order to get a closer or gift decision, or more importantly, increase his revenue. More power to him and you can't count that against him considering Ward's history of never leaving the US to fight.

Indeed, that's true. He probably knows deep down that he's on the slide. He was hit an awful lot, hurt once or twice. Ward is no big hitter but he can wear you down. I believe he'd beat Froch in easier fashion than last time out, with possibly even a late stoppage, UK or not.

great point. Dirrell landed more clean power punchs (some of which genuinely hurt Froch, with him reeling on the ropes) punches on Froch than did Ward.

I don't believe for a second that you think Froch fighting a guy who has become a complete nonentity in the sport is deserving of a rematch with Froch Conrad.

Maybe Floyd should fight Castillo again?

I'd only want this fight so Ward could get a well deserved big pay day. Otherwise, it's a mismatch.

    Yawn.

So run this by me again....

Ward is the best man in the division, he is also pushing for the number 1 P4P spot, but his best win is beating a plodding dumbass ?

Ward won by a mile that night, but he had to work his ass off, this is what the usual ESB clowns tend to forget, Ward was the clear winner in a hard fought fight, if you think he barely broke sweat beating Froch then your a ****in idiot.
Have a look at Wards face after the fight, did it look like Froch never touched it ?
Why was Ward tiring in the last 3 rounds ?

Ward will always have Frochs number, Frochs only hope is that Ward gets sloppy and he can land a big shot, or that Ward enters the ring in less than perfect shape.
Froch is also on the slippery slope age wise, whilst Ward is nearing his peak.

Boxing is full of intangibles and **** happens so don't ever be complacent and believe every fights outcome is a done deal, go watch Curry vs Honeyghan.

Does Froch deserve a rematch ?
Of course he does, he's the next best thing in the division and unless Ward is moving to 175 who will he fight at 168 ? and don't say JCC as PTF has already highlighted the reasons why that is a joke matchup, but then again Ward had ruined/rehabbed Pavlik lined up as a legitimate opponent.

Well if they want a rematch, all Hearns has to do is to pick up the phone....

Mate no one over here seriously thinks Foch will win a rematch in the UK but that doesn't mean people don't want it to happen so they can go watch the fight and cheer their man on win or lose is that really that hard to grasp.

According to quite a few people, it really is that hard to grasp...

You know the fights that get closer every time you watch them? Yep, this aint one of them.

Everytime i watch i give Ward an extra round. Ward beat Froch 18 rounds to 0 so far on my card.

I'm thinking Froch/Kessler 3 is more likely to get made. It makes more money and is a more winnable fight.

That said, if Froch wants to rematch Andre, it continues to prove how proud of a warrior he is. I'm sure with some help from the networks, we can have a legitimate referee who won't award a Joe Cal stoppage and some decent officials ringside in the UK. Economically, it makes more sense there.

If Ward comes to England to fight Froch I'd definitely go. That way I could claim an EVT win over Ward when my contribution to the crowd noise causes him to mentally unravel like Zab Judah's schizophrenic brother and succumb to Froch's educated pressure.
