    Ward is countering Froch's jab with his own, straight and true and much quicker. Hooks and looping rights by Ward with a baby step back to let Froch enter the trap. Froch is carried back to the ropes as Ward gets in his chest. Inside work by Ward. Both flapping away, Ward landing crisper body shots and ducking to grind his head into Froch's chest and avoid his slapping downward shots. Ward is pushing off, slipping with some quick wriggles, and then coming back in with hard power shots around the sides. Uppercuts and left hooks at point blank.

    Froch landed a huge left hook to the stomach on the inside that backed off Ward. Ward still got the better of that round.
