    Froch is banging away with hooks and curving rights trying to get around Ward's defense. Intent combination punching from Froch. Ward weathers the early storm and then gets back to the nitty gritty, hooking Froch from right under his nose and leaning into him, using some shoulder and some bodyweight to rough him up, and ducking most of Froch's straight flicks. Ward jabs the body. Froch grazes him with a hook. Long jab by Froch. Right hand lead by Ward, dodged as Froch sidesteps. Clinch. Froch slaps with his free right hand as they wrestle and spin in the middle of the ring. Wild uppercuts by Froch as Ward just palm-thrusts him back to the ropes. Ward dives down and buries his face in Froch's belly as wild slaps fly just over his pate.
