I'm neither a fan or hater of Froch. He's good for boxing. He's old school. But, Ward humbled Froch in their fight. Froch had no choice but to accept defeat humbly.

It just seems strange Ward would instigate this twitter squabble. Sounds like two little girls fighting online.

And the boring argument is getting a little boring lately. I can understand fans saying it because some don't know how much skill it takes to be a boxer vs a brawler. But when a boxer says it, he's basically acknowledging he can't beat the other boxer.

 

It was a close fight

Ward did not put a clinic on against Froch at all. Just rewatched.
Ward looked more composed than Froch, which gives a better impression of control, but try watching the fight without any commentary or sound, and you can see why the judges watched a close fight.
Ward was leaning and holding which isnt a clinic, like many would like to dream it was. Ward definately didnt close the show.

A SMW clinic was Jones/Toney, Calzaghe/Lacy, Kessler/Andrade, etc

Ward seemed to be struggling at the end, as he did against Bika and Froch is an old SMW.

 

Ward should show some balls and offer to fight Froch again outside the US and see if Carl takes up the challenge.

why are people making out it was some kind of lacy vs calzaghe beating. it wasnt, it wasnt at all. it was a clear win for ward though. I do think that if froch beats kess convincingly then he deserves another shot at ward. and i will stay up and watch it for sure.

froch seems to have addressed the slow starts that caused him problems a few times ir ward, kessler 1, taylor. id love to see a rematch, you have to hope fighters like froch who take the big tough fights get rewarded by getting these type of opportunities.

well i do anyway because im more of a fan of the fights than the boxers. then again if your a homosexual dickrider, the type this forums full of, i can understand why you wouldnt want to watch it.

Ward beat Froch fair and square but this Twitter spat reeks of jealousy FROM BOTH PARTIES. I'm sure it still frustrates Froch, knowing he lost to Ward, but right now Froch is the more talked-about, the more fan-friendly, and that undoubtedly irks Ward. Can't help but think he's not helped himself with some things, like his reluctance to fight away from home and his beating a drained Dawson. Minor points, but they leave room for criticism, which he could so easily have negated.
