    you do have to laugh.....

    beats kessler

    beats froch

....earns peanuts and has no fans.

....other two earn more and sell out stadiums every single fight. If he wants money and fans he needs to come to europe..the home of boxing.

I really like Carl but I wish he'd stuck to his guns after he said 'the better man won fair and square' rather than saying Ward 'spoiled the fight'...it's a boxing match. Ward is the better boxer. It was better when he was admitting it. However, Andre Ward is really boring to watch, and his personality is pretty dull, too. A lot of the things he says about Froch/Kessler I think stems from bitterness that he's not as popular, but is clearly better than both men.

Froch was/is as bad as Donaire with his bitterness and excuses for losing to Ward. If it was a close controversial decision, then yeah, I could understand it. Or ****, even if it was a knockout where he was in control. But a 12-round schooling from start to finish? Those are the type you keep your mouth shut about.

Ward let himself down, too, with those tweets.

Being number 1 fighter in the division doesn't make him as relevant as he would obviously like. For sure, froch and kessler are fighting for 2nd place but i think you will find there is more interest and money in this fight than any fight Ward has been involved in. The fight and fighters have captured the imagination of the fans, something that ward hasn't been able to do despite his success. Bottom line is that Ward trying to start pathetic twitter wars with a fighter he has already beat proves him to be a fighter who is not too comfortable with how things are at present.

I kinda agree with this, and I like Ward now,but Froch's new approach is far more funny and entertaining.

What prompted Ward to send that first tweet?

Froch bragging about his popularity is pathetic. Canelo could crush those numbers if he fought in Mexico and he's barely reached the elite level.
