Yes but Froch is bitter and doesn't respect the lesson Ward gave him so he comes off as whiny. Financial aspect and all is great for them. But the legacy is what matter for boxing fans. Ward beat him good, and has the better resume by a ways.

I love the "what has happened to your career?" that Froch says. Like, um, since they last fought, Froch has only fought twice to Wards' once and Yusaf Mack is nothing to brag about.

Dawson is better than Bute, but considering the weight Bute is a better win. However, Froch would be one to criticize that considering the comments he made regarding Yusaf and weight.

 

Chillax, guys, Ward and Froch are just making some awkward attempts at starting the hype for a fight between them next. Even Ward thinks Froch is beating Kessler. :think

 

There is a difference between thinking and hoping...

 

Froch will have fought 3 times within 18 months when he fights kessler. the mach fight was supposed to be an easy fight but even so both bute and kessler inside a 18 months is good work imo.

Ward fought once against a corpse and has spent the last 18 months being either injured, talking about what he isn't prepared to do or both. All the **** about mayweather and now this leads me to think he is not at all happy with his options.

 

He can beat Kessler too. A Froch fight would sell better in the USA though.

 

Froch in nearly all of his interviews -- when addressed about the Ward fight -- has to mention that Ward is boring and come up with a few excuses to why he didn't perform as well. I'm guessing Ward just caught wind of his latest one of them, and responded.

 

Whats really ******ed and sad that you always talk about money they make, as FAN i dont care who makes the most money i care who the best in the division is and its clearly Ward.
You are so butthurt that you always bring up money like you earn it or get some of Froch and Kesslers money, Bute earned more than Froch Kessler and Ward but its clear that he is not on their level, doesnt mean **** who earns how much JCCjr earn more than Sergio but Sergio is 10x better. That's true. What he's gone on to do do (or not do) since winning the Super Six, is ****-poor by his standards.

 

Ok I see. Yeah I heard him make those comments before. I remember him saying he probably can't beat Ward, only to retract the statement later.

 

Let's be honest here,Ward outclassed Froch but Ward craves the sort of respect and marketability Froch has.
It's one of those rare examples where a supreme boxer regresses after a good win,while his opponent flourishes.
And I worry that Rigo might have the same problem.
Ward is so far out on his own at 168 that he's become sleep-inducing to casual fans.

 

And Froch is finally getting the respect that he's craved,so has he now to spend the rest of his days saying "Ward is too good,and even though his style and persona doesn't appeal to anyone outwith purist fans,I know I'll never beat him"?
Of course not.This is the way he operates.As I keep saying,he's a better fisherman than Sig Hansen.He gets more bites than a pig carcass dipped in a tank of pirhanas.

 

It is Ward's fault and his alone. Had he not ducked Bute, had he fought Dawson at 175 lbs, had he travelled during the s6, things would be very different now.

People don't dislike Ward because of the way he fights.

I don't think Ward cares as much as people here think he does or should though. He does what he wants and he has always had it his way. He's unbeaten, healthy and viewed as one of the best in the world by many. He makes enough money and he's happy. :conf

If this was a thread about who is the best fighter between the two skills wise then i would i agree with you, however, it is not. Instead it brings to our attention that ward is creating gay twitter wars, to gain some publicity, so as he can eventually get in the ring and earn some good money:roll:

Yes money is the main reason why fighters get in the ring you clown.. But from a fans prospective you are right and i too couldn't give a **** what any of them earn.atsch
