it is a hard one to call cos at the moment there are just no career defining fights for him and there don't look to be much on the horizon. He may spend the rest of his career picking up injuries, who knows.

Ward would have probably won where ever they fought.. Although it has to be said that it is an advantage that ward and his team were very reluctant to loose out on.

 

That's true, Ward beats Froch wherever they fight however it doesn't negate the fact that Froch's chances of winning would be increased if they fought in the UK. Say, from 20% to 25%.

TBF Filip,I think he's only suggesting that Ward is minimising the risk in theory,although I think Ward would be able to get a clear decision anywhere,except maybe Germany where you need to win 13 clear rounds to beat a big name immigrant pretending to be German.

And only fight that could be said home turf helped is Froch vs Dirrell, it was close no doubt but i think majority scored it for Dirrell. Ward won every fight clearly!

 

In theory i agree but in super six final as i wrote here multiple times Froch got 115 113 he would not get that even in Nottingham because it was not that close, if any fight that Ward fought was close i would say so but it was not so home turf did not play big part in his wins.:good

I'm a Froch fan but Carl needs to get over this ****. He lost period. He needs to beat Kessler and do everything in his power to get a rematch.

 

Ward comes across quite desperate.

He starts an argument on Twitter with Froch and then ends it when its pointed out quite rightly that he has no fans (esb fanboys that follow the latest, undefeated champ don't count) and can't see out even his hone town.

Reminds me of when Mayweather said he can't draw on PPV or something close to that so he tries to call out Chavez Jr who recently got dominated by Martinez.

Wardkke opened his arrogant desparate trap and got owned. He has no fans, no interest, no money, no fights to take, an unwatchable style that nobody wants to see and he's clearly jealous how the world would rather see two guys he bored to death rather than his boring as **** ass. The man in irrelevant in this game even though he's the champ that must really be upsetting him. Because he talks more about Froch than he does his own career.

 

Coming from you... One of the biggest Ward haters I've ever seen, it's hard to take anything seriously.
To me, Ward seems content with his life. Not all boxers have pretty wives IMO, look at Tim Bradley's wife and look how fit Bradley is. To some guys looks aren't the most important thing and to be honest most of your "HOT" women aren't hot to you once you get to know their terrible personality. Not all, but MOST. When you grow up your entire life being able to get anything you want from guys based on your looks, you really don't have to win anybody over with your personality.
As for being relevant, Froch was the one making excuses about why he lost to Ward... Ward is just calling him on it. I probably wouldn't have bothered personally, but the way ESB people like to argue, I guarantee 99% would do the same thing.
Ward might be boring to many people, sometimes I put myself in that group as well, but his fight with Froch was exciting to me. Stood there and beat him up basically :thumbsup. Ward has been a bit unfortunate with injuries, but honestly seeing as how he's a league above everybody in the division, maybe while he's off it gives other fighters time to establish themselves as worthy opponents for the champ.

 

Its really comical listening to some of you Euros and Brits on how you guys always downplay Ward...The butthurt from you guys is strong in this thread!

One thing you haters cant take from him is how he dominated Froch and Kessler so your new pathetic argument is how boring or how much money he's making like that's an valid argument...its gonna be fun rubbing it you dudes face over the years to come!:good
