Ward in a damn good scrap. I'd say location matters a lot to the outcome of this one though.

As a big Froch fan it pains me to admit that I think Ward will beat him. I'd go as far as saying its probs a 65/35 chance in favor of Ward. That said, it'll be Ward's toughest fight to date and I expect Froch to make Ward pull out every tool he's got.

For too long people have said that Froch lacks the skills/general finesse, but he's done nothing but prove naysayers wrong. He more than makes up for it with sheer determination and brute force. I picked Abraham to beat Froch, expecting 1 flush power straight to find it's way through Froch's seemingly non existent defence. Froch proved he was too good however and boxed a perfect shutout over someone who stylistically was bad for Froch.

Still, I'm picking Ward to beat Froch 7-5 or something, but I soooooo hope Froch does a number on him, he's more than capable of doing so.

Abraham fights nothing like Ward . Know Your boxing

Ward is just too skillfull , Froch would get outclassed . Thats if he gets past Johnson who hes going to have hell with .

Ward, like Dirrell, is hard to hit. Froch gets frustrated by quick, evasive fighters. Ward will get off first, land, and get out. Carl will attempt rabbit punches.

You're going to have explain how Froch is going to land on Ward. Is he going to hit Ward with that flicking jab? Easy to do with Arthur Abraham, hard to do with a guy with movement and reflexes.

    Easy UD Ward.

Hmm even though Ward got touched up a lot more against midget Arthur Abraham than Froch did :think

See rounds 1-3 of Ward vs Abraham. Abraham certainly won at least 1 of the rounds and it was due to his good use of a jab. For some reason, he completely abandoned his competitive game plan and just decided to go for the loss after round 3.

My point is, a sound jab works wonders for anyone, and Froch is no exception. He's demonstrated good use of a jab in recent bouts and I thoroughly expect him to take full advantage of his long, powerful jab against Ward.

I do believe Ward will exercive technical superiority and get the win, but it wont be as easy as you seem to think. I believe Froch's fight tomorrow with Johnson will clarify things for you.

Good point. Wards best chance is to outbox Froch like Dirrell tryed(and some say did). Ward is better the Dirrell overall but Dirrell has more skill when it comes to outbox. I don't think Ward has the power to make Froch respect him. I don't know the outcome, but NO WAY easy fight for Ward.

Umm do you morons remember that a middleweight in Jermaine Taylor who has no lateral movement whatsoever, outboxed Froch for the majority of their fight, and if he had made it to the bell would have won the fight?

Consider that Ward is superior to Taylor in every area. He's stronger, faster, far better stamina, and far more technically sound and can throw in some unorthodox elements aswell.

Consider the fact that Froch couldnt outbox Kessler. You are just deluding yourselves.

Hmmmm....I haven't seen Ward outboxing someone since the Miranda fight...Actually I was so ****ing stunned that he decided to fight Bika on the inside and made his fight had. I guess his outside game is not as good as his inside game.

Its not. But if you watch his fight with Kessler, he won the first 2-3 rounds boxing off the back foot.
