    Dawson is looking for a big left hand on the way in, as Ward settles into a rhythm with his left jab. Dawson falls atop Ward, octopus hold. Ward shrugs him off and gets on the jab. Fast start from Dawson, moving in behind the waving right jab and then swallowing Ward up with encircling arms. Ward checks the Dawson right jab with his left while circling to his left. Right hand to the body by Ward. Dawson tries to place his jab but Ward is shrinking into a ball and vanishing like quicksilver from the pocket whenever he sees it coming.
