Really strange to see how Dawson has bent over to all of Ward's demands for this. Fighting in Oakland, Dawson really needs to have proper testing for this fight. Was surprising that more questions weren't asked about how Andre somehow mysteriously got such a nasty cut from the inside of a headguard putting back the Super Six final by 2 months. This when he knew he'd be tested post-fight outside of California for the first time in at least 3 years. Was peculiar but not unexpected, therefore, to see him start falling apart in the last few rounds even though he dominated the whole fight beforehand. Conte back to the rescue in Oakland for this one though

Well i was a big fan of Ward, But i do find him a bit shady and i'm now sort of nonplussed by him. Wouldn't put it past any fighter to use PED's.

I know exactly what you mean, Mand. It's pretty sad that we've gotten to this situation where there is so much suspicion, but we can't blame the fans for thinking this way, tbh. Ward hasn't helped himself with the Conte connection either. Plus he shows incredible deceptive strength...But it makes it easier to believe in someone like Ward who is technicaly so correct, don't you think? and pretty much has the same style and stuff he had from the get-go. His positioning, ring savy and mastery of angles, things that PED's couldn't give you. The reason we fell in love with him in the first place. lol

Ward is a good Middle Weight...

    Chad Dawson's a great fighter...

"Weather he is weight drained abit or not.......he will beat Ward"

Ward has not faced the technical challenges inside the ring Dawson has.

He's actually more of a light heavy then middle, PK. People underestimate Ward's physical strength and ability to get gully. That kids an animal on the inside (not just fighting inside but in his mentality). Like with David Haye people get fooled by the looks.

Don't forget also that Ward won a gold at light heavyweight and fought there many times as a amateur.

Ward is technically better, has better ring IQ and is mentally stronger.
Add that to the weight advantage and i think it's an easy fight for Ward.

Although Ward will be favourite I have a sneaky feeling that Dawson might finally put together a performance worthy of his considerable talents

Offensively Bad Chad has more going on than Ward; greater variety, single shot power & combinations. Chad is also an underrated body puncher & has a strange right-handed southpaw style it will be hard for sparring partners to imitate.

However, Chad lacks the same focus & determination that Ward has in abundance. If the going gets tough in this fight then thats only going to favour Ward. If Dawson can start well & maintain distance then he has a very good chance at winning. If he doesnt or gets dragged into the trenches then Ward will win by a comfortable margin imo.

Andre Ward will beat and might even stop Chad. Technically there's not much to choose between them (although I'd favour Ward), but I think Ward will be much stronger at SMW and I also think he's stronger mentally than Chad Dawson. I'm looking forward to this fight though, I'm hoping to see both guys tested in every department.

It will be an easy fght for Ward.
Dawson isnt that good. His best wins are all over fighters over a decade older than him. When he was facing a young top LHW who wasnt weight drained he lost.
Dawson cant fight inside and will be out toughed and out strengthed as Ward holds him and beats him for a very clear UD

Ward is an absolute monster in Oakland. A monstrous third fist of a head which all the officals love and ignore, plus Conte's special magic potions which California puts down as another milkshake with fries.
