    I had it 118-110 Dawson and didn't see but a couple of people with cards as close as 116-112. A lot were even wider than mine.


    As for the trainer situation, I personally think Dawson looked much more comfortable in his style under Iceman than with Joy and am plenty satisfied with how much he mixes the left lead & left cross into his attack, to both head and body. :conf

    Yeah, I scored that fight 9-3. Even Hopkins has had a difficult time crying robbery, as much as he wants to.

    And I also thought he used his left well on the inside against Hopkins. Anyway, I think he'll need to rely on his right hand against Ward.

    Dawson exuded his usual laid-back confidence when interviewed on FNF last night.

    He honestly doesn't seem worried about Ward. :think He says nobody has ever committed to a gameplan of imposing their style behind a strong jab on him before.

    He also shot SSM an epic "You stupid mother****er" glare when Shane asked if he and Ward had gotten buddy-buddy as teammates at the 2004 Olympics as if this would make it tough to go against each other. (Dawson never competed in any Olympics and had been a pro for three years by then) :lol::lol::rofl

    Chad said he was 178 last night so he should be right on track to make weight. You never know what it will take out of him, however.

    His jab and handspeed will be a real problem for Ward early on. The way he was using the right hook to negate Hopkins clinches should translate well to Ward. Ward seems to jump some times with his hands down as he initiates infighting and Dawson's right hook could help a lot.

    I think it will be a super close decision in which Dawson deserves the victory, but I kind of expect Ward gets a couple benefits via politics/promoters/location/fans cheering and takes the W...

    The key will be for Dawson to keep Ward out of the pocket. I think he can do it, especially as the fight goes on.

    I think if Dawson wins with anything other than a robbery, he should deservingly be held in higher regard than Ward currently is.

    That FNF interview worried me a little bit. If Dawson thinks Ward can't box, he's gonna have problems.
