Good fight , now it depends on how Dawson will manage against B-Hop. If Dawson will beat Hopkins convincingly I'll favor Dawson as a winner into a fight against Ward ! If he will lose with Hopkins I think Ward can pull out a win by decision!

This fight against Hopkins can give the answer if Dawson can beat or not Ward , because Ward is a younger , less tricky & experienced version of Hopkins imo !

Ward roughs him up and dominates him on the inside. I don't even think this fight would be close. Horrible style match up for Dawson.

Dawson outboxes Ward, bad style match up for Andre.

ward via competitive UD, when the going gets tough Ward will want it that much more, first 8 rounds will be undeniable close.

I was thinking something similar. Its a case of the matador and the bull, IMO.

If Dawson can force his way through Hopkins, who is possibly the most technically skilled boxer P4P, he will certainly devour a lesser skilled boxer in Ward.

If Hopkins can win on the back foot, I think Ward has a chance of possibly doing the same.

However, from what I saw in the short, last fight.. Dawson, the bull, will run through Hopkins, the matador.

Dawson is neither tough or versatile enough to overcome a boxer like Ward.

My thoughts exactly. Dawson is somewhat of an enigma really. If he were consistent one way or the other he would be tops in the class and nearly unbeatable. But he doesn't box well enough to beat Ward, and he's not aggressive enough either.
His one chance is a puncher's though. Ward wasn't exactly a beast at MW and aint one at SMW. I highly doubt his power would even be respected at LHW. Kindof a featherfist even. Dawson might be able to overpower Ward, but he'd likely try to outbox Ward and end up getting clowned.:think

Ward's only real advantage's against Chad are aggression & concentration over the course of 12 rounds....

It'd be a very competitive and close fight. 50/50 in my book. Ward has the better boxing brain, more versatility, and better inside fighting/mauling. Dawson is more physically talented, bigger, quicker, more powerful, and is better from outside.

Ward is far far far far smarter for sure, but Dawson is bigger and stronger.

I dont hope its in Jokeland.

If Ward uses his head he will

TBH I'd much rather see ward try to keep dominating 168 instead

right now i think it's a tough fight, ward is more available so chad might take the middle rounds easier, but ward is very active and rough so if chad has stamina problems it would show up later
