Most middleweight defences in history, son.

Shoot some figures. Let's hear it. You're making the claim.

And yet Ward was scared of the smaller guy
Ward was the one that said 'no'.

Kovalev won #1 and was fouled to a loss in #2
with more MW defences than Borenard Hopkins. Dats right.

Well he wasn't going to take a job fighting Golovkin, that much is clear.

Canelo, thats why robberies are so wrong. I think GGG won them both, but the first was very clear. Also, Kovalev beat Ward in the first fight clearly, which was another robbery. Do you think Canelo is better than the three you mentioned ?

Kovalev was already too much for Ward in fight number one.

Legacy and other bull**** will be piece of paper for toilet if you will pay off for elite camp for the same ams not alone pros, including sparring partners gigs fully covered etc.

I do know this bull**** talk about legacy and other empty noise.
It is empty noise cos I do have real life examples how differently countries support am sport.
Some countries might pay you 6 digits for Olympic medal or World championship medal. Some 5 digits and lesser.
    Not always mandatory gold.

While some other countries are like this: if your youngster does have money to travel then you might compete in continental championship for ams. Like this difference.

Pro boxing is everything about money.
From beginning till end of career.
Difference most likely will be that you might prefer to get lesser $ for your first fights and get easier fight even if opponent will be more expensive than someone more dangerous and with this your own purse will be smaller.
When you rise in rankings then you are lurking for risk - reward proportion here and this is normal thing.
To be a pro boxer is career job not something else, like other jobs.
First time I had experienced this reality was when lad better had picked to fight with easier opponent for lesser purse.
He get, let's say approx 850 british pounds equivalent lesser in order to get not me but another opponent in the ring.
This was first moment in my life when word pro boxing induced little reflex to vomit.
    Sorry.

GGG would be the A side. Both Ward vs Kovalev fights were flops. Which is amazing.

    Where?
    Cos Ward's passport?
Okey, US guy, so automatically A side.
Ward was boring boxer and never had reached DLH or Floyd Jr seller's power in Vegas.
Sorry, no offense, I know business rules: even boring boxer if with proper origin must be A side King and Ruler.
Pro boxing is BUSINESS and 1% sport.
With dudes like Ward: former World level am superstars till boring as death hometown officiated pro boxer Andre Ward who was boring as death and not so big tickets seller for Vegas unlike DLH or Floyd Jr, again sorry.

The facts are ward beat kovalev 2x, stopping him in the rematch the first fight was very close and canelo had a draw and a win over ggg a guy who was favored to beat him I might add.

Wards best win was Kovalev, using illegal nuts shots. Lost the first fight too. 1-1 with kov.

Long before that; GGG was punching holes in Kovalev in sparring.

Neutral venue, outside jokeland with a neutral ref. SOG gets sparked the **** out by GGG.

You can take that to the bank.

Most defense??? LMFAO!!!!! Name me a fighter worth note he beat in those defenses? I'll wait

Don't play dumb with me, anyone with common sense knows that GGG would have earned a career high payday up to that point against Ward. If Kovalev did then GGG would have who was being pushed and promoted hard by HBO. You just didn't want the fight to happen for obvious reasons.

GGG KOs heavyweights in sparring he's the biggest puncher ever yet wasn't willing to face light punching Ward.

GGG is the one who moved the goal post. Said anyone 168-154 can get it then Ward says I'm your huckleberry and GGG runs off like a ***** and says for you 164. Ward offered GGG a fight at 168 but was turned down flat and excuses made just like the ones you're making now. You know damn well if you thought GGG could beat Ward you would have begged Ward to fight GGG but you didn't that's why GGG fans never called for the fight because they knew Ward would get in that ass. Anyone who knows boxing knows Ward was arguably the best boxer in the sport at that time and people like you act like that means nothing and Ward wouldn't have done anything for GGG yet GGG fought bums and no hopers instead of fighting a proven guy like Ward. GGG was all talk Ward pulled his hoe card and he folded like a ***** tucked his tail and ran home. Meanwhile Ward dared to be great moved up in weight to face a guy in Kovalev who you and most other GGG fans said would KHTFO. That's the difference between hype and substance.

Kovalev got his ass kicked and from the second half of the the first fight through the second fight he beat up the bully no excuses. He mentally ****ed Kovalev and I made a thread about it before the rematch saying as much. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...ighter-since-pbf-hes-in-kovalevs-head.588687/
You picked Kovalev to stop Ward, own up to it like a man.

GGG can't carry Hopkins' spitbucket. Hopkins is a top 3 ATG at MW GGG isn't. Hopkins>GGG.

Do not talk about paydays, you never in your life will have even money Chisora does have not alone to talk about PRIDE, HONOUR, PAYDAYS or other bull******* you here are talking about.

Life coach appeared in your person, LOL. Payday for you is to post in forums.

Obivious reason maybe was why Ward had all pro fights only in US too?
You have some intent to talk about this? Really to prove that he was better than Ottke here while he was NOT.
I have no interest in such sparring stories.
At first please made excuses for Ward who basically was the same as Ottke, please do not cry here: Ottke: all pro fights in Germany, Ward all pro fights in US and please do not cry about mecca of boxing or other buls****.

    LMFAO!

You comparing Ward to a joke like Ottke proves to me that you don't have a good grasp of the sport. Ward is a proven guy he has wins over Froch Kessler Abraham Kovalev 2x and Dawson their resumes are as far apart as the Milky Way Galaxy is vast. Ottke didn't beat anyone of note during his career, any of those guys I mentioned immediately become the best fighter Ottke fought.
