Money wise GG and Degale will make more fighting each other, but belts or no belts everyone knows Ward is the best, until they beat him (neither of them can) any real fan of boxing knows Ward is the best at 168. He cleaned out division and i hope he moves up cause he has nothing to prove at 168 but at 175 he has great fights...

It was always funny to me how haters always find some bull**** excuses, which fight was close that he would not win if he wasnt fighting home? He beats guys as clearly as possible so you haters have to catch for straws...Kovalev traveled to Wales and KTFO Cleverly point is if you are better you are better, Zlaticanin from my country traveled to Scotland and dropped and clearly beat Burns...if you are better you are better if Ward had some close fights when decision could have gone either way I would understand that talk but all his wins were clear, in fact vs Froch there was bull**** score that Froch would not get even in Nottingham!

Totally, thats why I wouldn't blame them for making some money fighting each other first, so long as Ward is the next port of call after that (maybe a mando 1st) assuming he is still at 168.

Ward could in the meantime build a bit of rep back fighting maybe Steiglitz, a Dirrell, maybe Jack if his stock is still high-ish. GGG if he fancies moving up.

I don't even necessarily think GG will beat Jack, this is all just what if.

If a fight vs Degale or the winner of a Degale v Jack/GG box off can be made in the next 12-18 months then I'd like Ward to stay at SMW, otherwise I'd like to see him move up and challenge himself.

Degale lands a left cross in round 7 out goes ward.

Now degale can claim number 1 p4p spot.

Callum Smith might be at that kind of level in a year or 2 also which might make Degale as much again domestically as he would get for a Ward fight

Lol I love how you say it needs to happen in Oakland :D Like you fear that Ward would get robbed anywhere else, or that he needs all the advantages he can get :D
