That has no relevance to anything. Degale 'beat' Groves, that means nothing, it has no relevance to the thread, just because one fighter beat another doesn't mean that another fighter beats the other guy because he lost to someone else. Froch in my opinion would smash Degale to bits but it really isn't relevant to the thread.

Getting stoppages isn't all down to how hard you punch, shows what a basic understanding of the sport you have. Light punching Ward rocked Froch bad and wasn't far off stopping him, heavy hitter Abraham wasn't even close. DeGale would find Froch with punches as easily as Ward did, the difference being he hits a lot harder.

Since DeGales surgery he looks to be hitting very hard, he iced Periban in 3 rounds who had never been dropped let alone stopped. DeGale would easily be one of the top ten punchers Froch has faced, again you have no idea what you're talking about. And I have no doubt at this stage DeGale is cracking harder than Froch himself.

Froch clearly isn't as confident as you seeing as he dropped his belt to duck him

No chance, I disagree with everything you said. Taylor, AA, Groves, Bute, Kessler, Pascal and Reid that all punch harder than Degale and then the likes of Dirrell, Johnson, Mack and others that punch with very similar power to Degale.

Ward didn't nearly stop Froch, don't be silly, he outclassed him no doubt, but Degale isn't of the same class as Ward, not even close. Degale is a good fighter but not of the same level as Ward or Froch.

Really? He ducked him? Just because someone didnt fight someone it doesn't mean he ducked him. No one is saying that Frampton ducked Quigg, No one is saying that Saunders has ducked Lee, Korobov or N'Dam. People just say it when it suits them, after Froch has fought so many guys that are better than Degale, he is in no way afraid of fighting him but isn't going to go from earning many millions against Groves to a fraction of it against a fighter of equal quality is he?

Trust me, you're underrating DeGale. Lets revisit this conversation later in the month when he stops Carls daddy Andre Dirrell :deal

I think Degale is a good fighter, I hope he proves me wrong, believe me I would like to see nothing more than another Brit having a world title around his waist, but I just disagree with some of the stuff posted about him.

Fair enough. But I think he'll make you a believer when he beats Dirrell

Ward 12-0. Mismatch IMO. At least groves has a punchers chance of landing something big and getting Ward out of there early. Degale doesn't event have that.

Certainly hope so, but I wouldn't pick him to win against Ward, Froch or Dirrell, and I would say Smith, Groves and Kessler are pick 'em fights. An active Kessler of course
