I always thought DeGale could give anybody problems at 168 if given the chance. Ward probably wins but DeGale is a viable opponent.

 

DeGale would give Ward all sorts of problems. And let's make it clear: DeGale was robbed in the Groves fight.

I also think Groves would be a nightmare for Ward. It seems that Froch has been doing Ward a lot of favors lately, by knocking out Bute and Groves. Those guys have the style to beat Ward, but now they're damaged goods.

Ward has not fought a top prime SMW yet, and has not fought a fast young SMW.
Ward didnt face Andre Dirrell, he didnt face Bute.
I dont think Ward will get that fight either.
He seems to be fighting good fighters after they have been beaten and not before.

I would favout DeGale to beat Ward, but if Froch gets to DeGale and takes something out of him, win or lose, you never know, what a loss can do, however it happens

Nobody beats Ward at SMW. You're crazy if you think otherwise. The only question is by how much Ward wins by.

 

What's the obsession with being undefeated? Ward schooled Froch and Kessler and many people were saying Kessler was going to destroy Ward. As for Bute, yes he was undefeated (even though he got KO's by Andrade) but had not really fought anyone so Ward said Bute needed to prove himself, so he stepped up and fought Froch and failed miserably. Although Ward missed a trick by not taking the fight himself he was proved right, Bute was no more than a flat track bully.

You still havent answered the questions and that doesnt answer the whole Bute thing.

Ward didnt clean out the division. He beat Kessler and the rest happened in that Kessler, beat Froch who beat Bute etc.
Ward didnt once fight a top undefeated fighter.
The division isnt cleaned out, there is Dirrell and DeGale and also this clear out was also a faded Calzaghe victim, but lets forget that
